Emery’s POV
I was speechless.
I couldn’t believe what was in front of my eyes.
The bottom to ceiling dark wood bookshelves with the rolling ladders were things I had only seen on TV. There were so many books here.
“I’ll take your silence to mean you like it.”
“I’m in love.” I truly was.
“How can you be in love with a room.” That broke me out of the absolute trance I had been in since we came into the library.
I turned back to look at Sin and squinted my eyes. “I just am okay.”
He put up his hands in surrender. Thankfully he didn’t try to press my buttons even further.
“What type of books do you like?”
I just liked to read everything I could get my hands on; newspapers, e-books, fanfiction, history books. Everything.
“I don’t discriminate. Every book deserves a chance.”
