The flare had died down already but it was as if I could still see it in the sky. It was as if my mind had taken a screenshot of the flare and I was running as fast as I could towards its location.
I don't know how I knew but I knew it had to have been from the rogue camp but what it meant exactly I wasn’t sure yet.
The last time they had shot a flare like that, it had been a signal to the rogue named Ferdinand's unit to mean that the main unit was leaving the festival campgrounds. This time though its meaning was unclear because all of the rogues were meant to be in one place; they wouldn't need flares to communicate with each other.
