We were on our way back to my office and I couldn’t keep the smile off of my face.
“Are you that happy?” Lacy asked me. "You look like a kid who was given the biggest slice of cake."
I could hear Dennis chuckle from her side.
I bobbed my head in response. “I thought my smile was a dead giveaway about how happy I am.” I turned to face her. "I thought we were headed to a dead end with our investigations but now we have a location," I said as I smiled at her.
Lacy shook her head at me but couldn’t help but give me a soft smile. I guess my glee was contagious.
