“I’m sure we don’t need to be tied up anymore,” Emery said to me.
I looked down at her and I could see the teasing sparkle in her eyes as she said this. We were currently still standing in the centre of the amphitheatre while most of the other couples had gone back to their rooms shortly after tying their strings.
I smiled down at her.
“What you don’t like being tied up to me?” I asked her.
She shook her head. “I never said that.”
“We’ll untie the string later.”
“Why later?” She asked before she took a good look into my eyes. I’m sure she could see the mischief in them as she said, “Oh.”
