Chapter Two
“Kathy”
When Kathy learned from Tom that I had married, she had desisted calling the radio station. I knew from experience; that she was really into me though. I figured, she backed off upon learning that I had taken the big step with someone else. I further surmised; that she didn’t want to be labeled a homewrecker. So, I took the initiative. I made the call to her.

After a few minutes into the conversation, I knew Kathy was still there for the taking. I realized, too, that she hadn’t mentioned my marriage once. It was as if it never happened. She deduced that if I were happily married and head over heels in love, I wouldn’t be calling her. Kathy was a very perceptive woman.
