another battle arena 14

Chapter 14 Isaiah's POV I was impressed with Bear; he shot amazingly. However, the way he was holding his gun was odd. He was holding it sideways. I'm going to need to teach him how to use it the right way. Heading back to the office, I knew I still had some work to do. I was doing some paperwork for a law firm I owe. Some of the lawyers needed to get paid, so I did their paychecks. After I was done with that, I checked more paperwork. You see, once you're an alpha to a pack, there is always never-ending paperwork that always has to be looked through and signed, including emails that mostly are just spam. I was reading about a few balls that were going to be held soon. However, there was one email that caught my eye: an alpha was building a battle arena. He has invited five packs to come, including ours. He stated that he wanted to battle my father, and this time, he will see who the strongest was. I growled, mindful of my father. “DAD, can you hurry to the office real quick? I have something to show you.” “Sure, son, I was just on my way. I just stepped into the pack house, so give me a few seconds, and I'll be there.” It took him a few minutes to get to the office, but he made it. He came with mom. She wanted to go see Ava, but she was already in here because I had called her back to the office so I could talk to all of them. When they sat down, I read the email to them and told them the name of the sender. Dad started laughing. “I beat that punk ass when Bear was only ten years old. He was trying to hit on your mom and tried to poison me. I should have killed him. This time, I will. Well, mom, are you going to do this as well, Ava? What about you?” “Well, he did say the whole family, that includes everyone; even the mates of our family. So that includes me,” my mom said. “Well, I guess I'm in as well,” my wife Ava said. “Well, there you go, I will need to send an email to everyone, including Bryce. There's no telling where he's at, but I'm sure he will get this email. I sent the family the email; I'm sure they will all respond in the next twenty minutes. But right now, I need to start getting ready to head out.” “So, dad, what did you want to see me about?” “Oh, that. I heard that Bear did good at target practice; he shot the whole bullseye to pieces.” “Yeah, he did. He did great, but I'm going to see how he handles himself tonight. Let's just hope he doesn't panic once he sees what we do.” My dad started laughing, and he headed out with mom. I needed to get some stuff done. I needed to get the guns cleaned up and then start getting ready. Tori's POV It was time to head out. I was dressed in all black, as we were supposed to be. The "suit" Bear was supposed to wear was actually jeans, a t-shirt, and a jacket. My brother had told him to keep it on until it was all over. I could tell he didn't like wearing the jacket, but he was doing what Isisha asked him to do. This is now or never. This will prove if he could handle being in the Black family. Everyone was standing by the car, waiting. We had Rachel, Selena, Ava, Isiaha, Spike, Hawk, and me. We also had a few other guys, but I wasn't sure what their names were. Later on, I found out their names were Scott and Doc. They were just extra help who wanted to go with us. We got into the dark SUV, which was black with tinted windows. We drove through the woods and onto the hard road. It took two hours to get to the edge of our border, where his house was located. I mean, come on. If you're hiding from someone, wouldn't you want to be as far away as possible to stay away from the person you're supposed to be hiding from? But not this guy. He's hiding where we could find him. I wondered if he had someone protecting him. Now we are about to find out, as we are here. We pulled away from the house as if we were just passersby driving by to get where we were going. We stopped about ten minutes away from the house. I know it was a bit of a ways, but we tend to do that when we need to get away. One of the guys stayed behind, as he got scared and decided to stay back in the car. It was Doc who went with us. He was excited about this and wanted to know what went on. Well, he's about to find out. Rachel's POV We walked ten minutes to the house while Scott slowly drove behind us with the lights cut off. We didn't want him to know we were there. The reason we walked the ten-minute walk is that we didn't want him to hear the car doors open and shut. Once we made it back to the house, we all got on the porch. ‘Alright,’ my brother whispered, ‘we know he's in there, we can smell him. I can also smell others in there as well, so on the count of two, I'm kicking the door down.’ We stood back, but he didn’t wait for the two count; he kicked the door down, making everyone jump off the couch and try to run. I swear my sister Tori is crazy; she flipped over the table, kicking one of the females that was trying to run. It was funny how she fell, hitting her head on the corner of the coffee table before falling on the floor. To me, it was funny; I don’t know what anyone else thought. Tori went after the other female; she caught her by the head of her hair before she could get out the door. Dad shut the door, she pulled her back, then threw her by the wall, leaving a dent with her body. Geez, there were three men; they held their ground with their guns pointing at us. “Cass, do you really want to point that gun at me? I tell you what: you go and get the twenty grand you owe me, and I will just shoot you in the leg. How about that?” ‘Are you f*****g kidding me? I’m not getting shot in the leg, man. I don’t have the money. How the hell did you find me anyway? It's been six years, man.’ ‘It hasn't been that long, dumbass. It's only been three years. And how I found you doesn't matter. Now go get my money, you son of a b***h, or I’ll shoot you in the head and have your friend here tell me where the money is,’ Isaiah pointed the gun at Cass's head. ‘You got two seconds. One... two...’ My brother shot him right between the eyes. He then turned the gun to the other guy while the girls started screaming. Tori punched one in the head and told her to shut up, while I had my gun on the other. ‘Wait, wait, wait, man. Don't shoot me. I know where the money is. It's upstairs. Just let me go get it, man,’ he started to move when I saw a shadow moving from the stairs. ‘Son of a motherfucking b***h, there's someone else in this house.’
