meeting my mate 52

Chapter 52 Rachel's POV When Dad said that the person involved was now sleeping with a message, I saw the smirk on his face. I knew what he meant - the person was sleeping with snakes. I would freak the fuc* out if I woke up with snakes all around me, so I thought I would lighten the mood. "Hey guys, I would like for you to meet my mate, Cole. Cole, this is my dad Mercury, my mom Cheyenne, my brothers Bryce and Isiaha, and this is Ava, my brother Isiah's mate, the super mafia queen that was shooting all the rogues." "Hi everyone, it's very nice to meet you, Mr. Mercury. I have heard a lot about you," he said as he shook my father's and my brothers' hands, then stepped back. "Well, I hope you heard everything good. But you know how rumors are. I don't hurt anyone unless you mess with my family. Then all I want is blood. Once that happens, Isiah is the King of Mafia now. He might even have you go on a collection, isn't that right, Isiah?" s**t, here we go. Dad and Isiah were joking around with my mate. Looking up, I saw Cole smirk. He was ready for this. "Sure, just let me know when and we will go. I know how to handle myself and I know how to handle a gun. We were a little mafia back in my pack. But not as tough as your family. We just kick people's asses when they step out of line." "Well, we are the same way. But when we go after someone who doesn't want to pay up, we have one tonight if you want to come along and see what we do." "Yeah, sure, when do we leave?" "Ten tonight is when we leave. Dress in black and be prepared for anything. We don't shift because there might be humans around. So that's a rule right there, no shifting unless they shift first. And if we still don't shift, one of us will take care of the problem when that happens. I can't believe they were discussing rules for tonight. That's how much they were getting along. I can't wait to tell Dad about our pack, so I told him." "Dad, our land will be ready in a few weeks. Then we can move in. I hope you and Mom can come and visit. I want us to have a bonfire and have a feast. I can't wait for you to see everything." "Well, honey, I'm sure I'm just going to love it. When you are getting settled in the pack, your mother and I would love to come. I bet the whole family is excited for you." Well, I will make sure to invite the whole family to stay for a few days. We talked for a few hours, then ate dinner. It was already late to go home to change and then come back, so Ava let us borrow some clothes. Isaiah and Dad gave Cole and Bear clothes to wear for the night. We ate dinner with the family, enjoying hamburgers and fries – good food, good company. As we all ate, it was time to head out. We got into the black SUVs and drove off. Of course, we made sure we had the guns ready and loaded. We even had a few daggers, but we might not use those; we always keep them handy. It took an hour to get to where we were going. It looked like a strip club with a half-naked woman on a sign. Great, my mate is going to be too busy watching the strippers than trying to keep a lookout for anyone who will try to jump us. I looked at my brother, shaking my head. He laughed and said, "Relax, we're not going inside, not yet. I'm waiting to see if he goes inside. This isn't his club, but if I have to, I will burn the place down with my money inside of it." We had to wait three hours until we figured out he was inside and he wasn't coming out. I heard Bryce say, "Forget it, let's go inside." I hated to say it, but I was starting to get tired of waiting out here. Together, we walked inside. You should have seen the people who stopped what they were doing to turn and look at us. Isaiah said, "If I were you guys, I would get the hell out of here because this place is about to go up in flames." Slowly, people started getting up, leaving in a hurry. The woman who was on stage hurried off the stage, running into the back to get out of the way. A tall, muscular man came out from the back; he didn't look happy, and we really didn't care. "When the hell are you in my club, riling everyone up, including my woman? Who the hell do you think you are?" "We are the people who are going to burn your place down if you don't bring out that dirtbag you have hiding in the back. That son of a b*tch owes me money, and I want it back. He has the count of three to come out here, or we are going to light this place up. Come on out, Jack." The man looked back in the room, then back at us; he had a smirk on his face. "You guys aren't so tough. I can kick all of your asses." I knew I shouldn't have done it, but I started laughing. He looked at me like I had grown three heads. Tori snuck up on him and tapped him on the shoulder. He turned to look, she waved at him, then punched him right in the face. He staggered back but then got back up on his feet. "You f***ing b*tch! I will kill you!" He stepped forward to hit her, but she ducked and kicked his legs, making him fall to his knees. She put a gun to his head. You still think you can kick all our as*es. This little girl just f*****g kicked yours. Jack, your ass better come out here, or I'm going to shoot your friend. Spike walked back in the back with Bryce. We heard screaming, then something being tossed around and breaking. Then we heard something being dragged forward. Spike had the guy by the head, tossing him on the ground. Spike had a yellow envelope in his hand. He tossed it to my brother. He opened it up, took a look inside, then closed it. "It's the money, including more. You see, Jack, this is all you had to do. But you called your guy here to get his ass kicked by my crazy sister over there. And you got your ass beat by my other two brothers. What do you have to say about yourself?" "f**k you, you motherfucker cocksucker." "Is that a fact?" Isiah shot him in the head, and Tori shot the owner of the club in the head. "Tori, Rachel, go check and see if there is anyone else in the back. You know what to do if you find anyone. Guys, let's light this bi*ch on fire." We ran into the back, kicked in doors, tore up paperwork so the place would catch on fire faster. We looked everywhere; no one was around. Walking back upfront, "We didn't see anyone else. Let's get out of here." We set the place on fire with the dead bodies inside, then got out of there. We got into the SUVs, speeding off. We could already hear the sirens of the fire trucks. They would be too late to get there. The bodies would be burnt to ash. We made sure we set them on fire first. When we got home, Isiah split the money. Then he put what was left in the safe that he keeps for his pack. He puts it in their accounts, then pays bills with the rest. "Guys, if you want, you can spend the night and then head out in the morning. Tori, you know where your old room is, and so does Rachel. We kept them the same way you left them, so that when you stay here, you can find whatever's in there." "That would be great, that's Isiah." We went into our rooms. I noticed that Cole was smiling away. "Why are you smiling so wide?" "Because I'm going to love being a part of this family, that's why. And I love you even more. Seeing that side of you was crazy. You running in there, setting things on fire, then those bodies on fire." He pulled me close, kissed me hard on the lips. "Damn, I think he's turned on. Oh, I love it, let's do this."
