Final Products

"Good morrow everyone. I believed everyone had their meals earlier and refreshments would be served shortly after. Today's meeting had been prepared earlier and please take a look at the notes before you so that we would be able to recap what's to be discussed today."

"Do not be surprised as the paper before you had been reproduced in the realm of His Majesty's mind and this would be a breakthrough for everyone here in this meeting board as I do not have to write a lot of things on the writing slate to explain what we would be discussing today."

"This would make the meeting short and sharp and we could delve directly into the heart of the matter. Would that be alright as we commence the meeting right now?" Heather began to reach for the set of papers before her as she shuffled it accordingly to what she would be discussing later on.

I sat beside her and watched how she managed to confidently chair the meeting and I'm sure she had her confidence piqued by the set of rocks that was dangling around her neck right now. Hahaha...!

The twins were sitting quietly in between us as they sipped on the warm milk that had been dispensed from the copper tun within the domain.

"Aye, Your Majesty. We can commence the meeting right now." one of the senior members announced as Heather stood up and began to pick the sheets of papers in her hands as she announces the production of the following health and beauty products that would be introduced.

"The first order of the day would be directed to Hendry here as he would be the key person to look for these herbs that would be able to reproduce these colour pigments."

"We would be producing a product called the basic makeup foundation powder. It would be made of the following ingredients such as what had been written on the sheets of paper before you."

"The process to make them would be as adding the Arrowroot Powder, then add Ground Cinnamon and Nutmeg and lastly Olive Oil. It's a mix of 50/40/10."

"The intensity of the tone could be adjusted accordingly by adding or reducing the amount ratio for the ground cinnamon and nutmeg."

"I believed Mama Kayla here uses these in her cooking before and Jennings may have used it in her baking too as well."

"Fortunately olive oil is being used in this production of the basic makeup foundation powder and the container they would be used would be the same as the toothpaste. The application brush would be like the tip of a cat's tail, unlike the paintbrushes that Marcel had brought with him before."

Heather went to the writing slate and drew a brush with a cat's tail at the end and much like the blusher that she would be mentioning later. She explained that the basic makeup foundation powder is like a whitewash paint before someone puts another set of colour to their walls et cetera.

When Heather put it that way, the senior members of the board laughed at how she described the basic makeup foundation powder and after explaining it to them, they finally understood that it needs to hold the rest of other makeup.

Without the basic makeup foundation powder, there would not be much different for the user. After she looked at the ratio ingredients of the makeup, she decides that the shade would be more than one and at least the ladies form the upper-class could choose to make their skin tone to be darker or even paler than a vampire...!

Everyone laughed at her poking fun at the upper class and Maricel who was sitting beside Marcel was blushing as she was considered as one herself.

When Maricel had read the sheets of papers in front of her, only then she realised the potential of the economic structure of this town because of these products, the popularity, as well as the recognition of the town and its products, would be known throughout the lands...!

"The next product would be the eyeliner that His Majesty claimed to make the eyes become bigger. For those ladies out there who had smaller eyes, this would be used to enhance the eyes and also make it more prominent. That's what His Majesty mentioned to me last night...! "

"The ingredients would be simple and all it would need is the activated charcoal, by itself, or mixed as a water-based, aloe vera gel-based and coconut oils based. Its composition mixture is 90/10. This product has one colour but 4 types. As for the coconut oils, we can set it aside for the moment."

"This eyeliner could use the perfume vials if it is simpler to store and at the end of the cap, an applicator brush would also be implemented. In accordance with the drawing, you may see that it looked like a tiny paintbrush with short bristles on the end of a thin stick."

"This eyeliner, as the name suggests, would be drawn just underneath the eye here. A sample would be welcome so a test subject would be used to apply all these products on her. At least we have a live demonstration so everyone would know the uses of each product."

"Next, we move on to the lipsticks that come in a clear gloss which consists of coconut oil, beeswax, butter and essence."

"Once again, coconut oil is being used here and this project could be in process waiting for the main ingredient to arrive. The ratio for this would be 50/25/25."

"The Essense would be just a few spoonfuls. A double boiler would be used to melt the beeswax, then add coconut oil and butter. Once it's cool, add the essence."

"As for the colour shading and intensity add ⅛,¼,½ pounds of beet, cinnamon or turmeric to have the colours of pink, light brown or golden brown. Our lipsticks would come in 3 colours and 9 shades, making it a total of 27 different types altogether."

Heather paused for a while and recap the whole list of products that would be introduced such as 4 to 6 shades for the basic makeup foundation powder, 1 shade for the eyeliner and 27 types of lipsticks of various shades.

"Our next product would be the eye shadows that also use Arrowroot powder and butter. The ratio would be 80/20."

"Use the beet, cinnamon or turmeric to have pink, light brown or golden brown depending on a mix of accordingly to adjust their intensity."

"This eye shadow has 9 colours based on the shades of their intensity."

"Last but not least, would be the blusher which would be made up of 3 ingredients too. Arrowroot powder, beetroot for pink, annatto for orange, madder root powder for red to purple and activated charcoal."

"The mix would be 45/45/10, 40/40/20 and 35/35/30 for 3 colours and 3 shade. There are 9 variants altogether."

"Actually, we won't mind having multiple shades at least the upper-class ladies would be able to choose what kind of intensity they wished for on paint on their cheeks to give a natural and permanent blush."

As everyone had their pieces of papers with all the ingredients and how to process would be for every single product, there are one more items that had not nene discussed and that would be the nail polish.

During the medieval period, the Viking Ireland used madder root to colour their fingernails where it was crushed and let the paste over their nails until it was dry.

However, we have decided to push it forward a little bit by adding more varieties of colour pigments to it to make it more attractive.

This time, Heather had done talking and it was my turn to stand up and speak to the senior members of the board regarding the last product that would revolutionise painted nails for the girls and women from all ages and classes.

Since colouring of the fingernails was only used to the extremely wealthy, this product would be available to all classes instead.

Of course, with Marcel's ingenious way of marketing, those products available in the local markets would definitely be 4 to 5 times cheaper than those found in the upper markets.

That's how the little devil managed to bring in extra income to his own personal wealth since we do not pay him a single coin for his role in our town.

"Hendry, these tasks would be for you. Since there was a mention of arrowroot, beetroot, cinnamon, nutmeg, annatto, madder and turmeric, we would need you to source out another few more roots that would be able to give off another few more colour pigments such as violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, prang, red, black, white, silver and gold."

"It is more like a challenge for you but I'm sure with your special abilities, you could source them out with ease, one at a time. Even though its already mid-Autumn and most of the herbs would go defoliate and hibernate soon, you may start during springtime."

"Would you be up for the task given to you to undertake? Your wife and daughter would be the best working partner in this field of work and we would like to dedicate a conducive working environment for you of your choice of location."

When Priest Hendry heard that a dedicated workplace for his herbalist family to work and service the community, they were really ecstatic.

At least they have a place where they could cultivate and harvest much sought after herbs they would not be able to grow steadily under normal conditions and needs the utmost care.

"Yes, Your Majesty, I accept the tasks bestowed upon my family and we would strive to serve the community in this way."

I stand corrected as I replied to him, "Not just to the community, Hendry but also to the economy of this town. Besides, how's the water that you had used on the barren herbal farmlands? Is there any results yet?"

"Oh... We have yet to mention it to you. Last night after you had left, we watered the whole barren lands of the herbal farm and today morning, we saw a lot of young tenderlings began to sprout from the withered stems of the plants."

"It was as if it had been given a chance in life and earlier before we came over where, we saw that the sprouts had nene aplenty and it was as if the withered stems of this plants had grown itself into shrubs and bushes...!"

"It was defying nature despite being in mid-autumn and it's blooming as we speak...!" Priest Hendry remarked as they discussed among the rest of the senior members of the board who curiously asked what had happened and it was narrated in full length.

Even Priestess Penelope was equally surprised and delighted to know that the Psi Energy orbs were able to defy nature's course and seasons.

She wondered if the same could be applied to the crop fields but decided not to since it would be break time for the farmers after toiling for a solid 9 months in the fields.

But it would be a boon to use it for the orchard trees behind the domain and towards the Eastern part of the town square instead.

"That's pretty good, Hendry. We hope it stays that way and remembers to fill the water up regularly. At least the energy essence inside it would not be used up and would also ways be refilled."

I advised as we moved on to the next subject — Alicia the Alchemist.

"Alicia, it would be a high time for you to have your own conducive environment to work with  and at least you would not be cooped up together with the factories as you meddle with your ingredients."

"We would need you to discover, along with Marcel and his cans of pain that he had used for the Granary before, to break down its component ingredients and isolate the following — ethyl acetate and an organic polymer."

"These two ingredients along with the colour pigments produced by Hendry would come hand in hand to produce a product called nail polish. It would come in 11 colours with 3 lighter and 3 darker shades. It would also be enhanced with some Psi Energy orbs to nourishes the nails after the nail polish had been applied."

"The drawing for the brush is on the paper in front of you so you would have some ideas on how the nail polish would be applied."

"Now, in order for these to work, which areas do you want your buildings to be constructed so research would be underway as soon as the buildings had bend completed?"

I asked and Heather pushed the minimap of our town square towards the conference table as Hendry and Alicia looked at the best location for their trade buildings would be next located.

"Here it is, Your Majesty. We both would like to have the buildings erected along Wealth Avenue." Hendry and Alicia both agreed to the location so be placed next to one another along with the Treasury and also the Town Council building.

I nodded my head in approval as the engineers marked those zones to construct two single-story buildings to accommodate the production and setting up of both the herbalogy's and alchemist's departments.

Two small models of business buildings were placed on the minimap and that settled the current issue at hand. I saw the empty spaces near the factories and asked the engineers of how many factories they would be able to fit in there.

"We would be able to construct further up to 9 factories, Your Majesty. We would be taking up some space within the orchards on this end here but it would not affect the whole orchard areas. Do you want the structures to be ready first or the samples first then?"

Hearing this, Heather replied that she would need to see the samples of all the products first before Ben would be able to deploy how many workers per factory according to the number of shifts.

Besides, the samples would be good to be produced so adjustments would be made before the final product would be finalised.

Maricel, who sat beside Marcel had already marked out several potential targets of cities and towns around her area of influence and this was agreed by her husband.

At least these two heads would be working better than one as it would be then able to reap in the profits they would be rolling in once the products had been formally manufactured.

With that, after Heather had recap the number of products and what they need to produce for the samples, she adjourned the meeting.

Everyone was eager to embark on their projects at hand and they were also anticipating the wrestling match that would be held later in a few hours.

"How did I do, my dear? Is everything up to your expectations?" Heather asked as I gave her two thumbs up and kissed her on her lips and said, "Never been better, my dear. It is absolutely P-U-R-R-F-E-C-T...!"
