Whee... Whee... Whee...

I jogged slowly back to the domain where I saw that Heather was there waiting for me at the conference hall with the twins as they huddled close together and fed to the family of white rabbits in the enclosure at the entrance with some green leafy vegetables that they had in their hands. "Hi dear, how is your run and it seems you went to the engineers guild earlier on the way back?" Heather asked me as I entered the domain and gave her butt a right squeeze, just like what the other Audemars had done. Hahaha. Heather laughed as she shooed away my hands as it was kind of improper to be watched by the twins who were intently feeding the white rabbits. "Just helping you to create the light caster. Besides the engineers had told me about these and had already been equipped onboard some ships. They are called Dragon Lights and they do have a great sounding name to it." "Dragon Lights? Maybe it was used to hunt and track down dragons in flight during some time. Who knows how the name was derived from." Heather quipped in and I laughed when she spoke of flying dragons. She too had a strange way of perceiving things as well. "So, what would you be doing right now? Do you intend to hold another meeting today?" I asked since I saw rows of paper with sets of quills and ink at the sides. This already answered my question but it's just done as a matter of fact at least there's some interaction between me and Heather. "Yes, dear. It would be conducted after lunch and then once we had done so, we would be heading to the Macleod Coliseum since I heard there's a new entrant named Black Mantis and it is going to be a 4 versus 1 match before the Royal rumble...!" Heather was excited and I knew I am the one going against those 4 and it's also a time for me to test out something that I had seen in the past and also what had happened earlier. I didn't tell her that I would be participating in the wrestling match or else she would be my ringside manager and be throwing up hints into the ring to fight off my 4 opponents. Hahaha. "Alright then, my dear. You won't mind me sitting in the meeting today, would you? I would be adding a few things here and there and according to what we need for the ingredients of the products." " Please invite Alicia the Alchemist and Hendry as well since he would be able to procure the herbs that we wanted to be used as pigments." 'I'm sure he would be able to give good support in this matter. If you need any assistance, you can call me out in the meeting." "Other than that, I would be sitting quietly in the meeting and mind the twins. Besides, I'm here to give you my moral support and I'm sure you would be fine dealing with those 6 new products." I reassured Heather and she smiled while giving me a peck at my nose's bridge. I laughed along with her as I set up the table and then I sat down at the steps of the domain while the twins were busy tending to their animals. "Do you want to hold them in your hands, my little darlings? They look so furry and warm you know and I'm sure you would love to handle them gently." I offered to the twins as I reached in and picked the fattest rabbit I could hold and held it up carefully. The twins were gleefully laughing as they stroked the rabbit gently as I showed them how to care for animals, no matter how small and gentle they are. After some time, Sir Blackie also sauntered by and I placed the rabbit back in its enclosure while I called Sir Blackie over. It walked over slowly and settled down at my feet as it wagged its tail at me. "Do you want to hear the history of Sir Blackie? You see... A long time ago when daddy and mummy along with the pioneers reached this place, we rested for a short while since we had run away from Darlington, many miles away from here." "We were having our lunch of roasted fish we had caught earlier and then came a big black dog out from nowhere and came sitting on its haunches while watching us eat. Mummy and Daddy offered it some fish and then it came over slowly and finally settled down to eat the fishes that were being offered." "It was sometime before I named it Sir Blackie and he had been with us for more than 2 years now. Is that right, Sir Blackie? You love being here with us and having enough to eat as well, right?" Hearing his name, it barked gently and wagged its tails and offered one of its paws for me to hold in a kind of handshake. Two years had gone by and it is still the same old Sir Blackie and he had grown throughout the years. It never chased anyone, barked at anyone or even bitten any small animals before. All it needed was some attention and affection and when Heather saw Sir Blackie, she too came over and dug her hands into its thick fur and gave it a good rub. Sir Blackie looked at us with its big round eyes and seemed that he wanted to tell us something, but of course, he can't form words and neither do we understand its barks. I rubbed the fir near his neck and simply said to it, "We have come a long way together, haven't we, Sir Blackie? You are part of the family and u do hope you would be able to protect the twins when the time comes." Sir Blackie looked at us and lay its head down between the paws as we continued to rub its fur. Maybe it is just tired since age is catching up but I'm sure Sir Blackie would still have a long way to go too, just like Old Kayla and Old Jack. After a while, Sir Blackie stood up since the twins had rubbed its fur just like I did and it woofed slightly to me and headed down to the Greasy Spoon where it could enjoy some morsels to eat before the felines do. I saw Sir Blackie walked away and somehow I was suddenly lost in my own thoughts as I saw the wagging of its tail and then it drooped down as it walked gingerly towards the town square. To be frank, maybe Sir Blackie is a bit lonely since its the only dog that would be loose around the town as the other shepherd dogs belonging to the latest Irish Travellers were leashed by their houses. "Come in children, let's help Mummy set up the conference table and then we can all go and find some food to eat." "We won't be cooking lunch today, right? Mummy would be taking a rest and let's wait for the food wagon to visit us here at the domain and grab some popped corn, shall we?" I mentioned it to the twins and they were clapping their hands rather enthusiastically when I was suddenly summoned to the hospital. Sensing it was not an emergency, we finished preparing the table and other material before the four of us heads to the hospital where Godfrey was being held there. =*= "Thank you so much for coming at a short notice, Your Majesty. We wished to inform you that a Godfrey would be discharged today and the parents would like you and the rest to be there as well." Priestess Isabela greeted us when we reached the third floor of the hospital as we entered the recuperation ward. Godfrey was sitting on the bed but he had changed to his normal clothes. The twins, sensing that they might be taking another shot of whatever inoculation it might be, clung tightly at our necks and I laughed at them and patted their buttocks. "Your Majesty, our son would be discharged today and here we are going to witness his few steps on his own effort after the horrid incident. We thank you for coming and thank you once again for giving out son a second chance in life." Gregory mentioned it to me and he knelt on one knee along with his wife. I chuckled and told them to recover and explained that I had nothing to do with Godfrey's recovery but it was they who actually took the initiative to come along with us from Camp. Besides, the one who does the healing is not me and it was all the efforts made by Priestess Isabela. I explained to them and they turned to thank Priestess Isabela instead, although they had already profusely thanked her before we came. "Godfrey, its tone for you to get out of this hospital as you are now officially discharged." Priestess Isabela spoke to Godfrey as he slowly scooted from the bed, stood up on his own and straighten the sheets and his clothes before he stood and faced us. Gregory and his wife, Gina who was on one knee now were almost kneeling on the floor as they watched his son effortlessly stood up and raise his both hands as if to welcome them into his embrace. But instead, it was Godfrey himself that ran towards his parents and gave them a big hug as the dam of tears broke and filled their faces. I saw the twins had a sad look on their faces as if they too wanted to cry out loud with the Gregory's. Seeing the twins were about to burst into tears I pinched their noses and told them not to cry but clap their hand instead. The twins understood and clapped their dainty hands as if to congratulate Godfrey who had regained his old self and not be an introvert right after this. He would be expected to mix around with the peers around his age and spend his time to prepare for school when Spring comes. Besides, I am sure he would love to go on fishing trips with his newfound friends from around the neighbourhood. Gregory and Gina were simply bawling their eyes out when they saw how their son condition had improved since their arrival to the town and faced us and thanked all of us once again. We all smiled and the doctors helped Gregory and his wife up as they prepared the checkout procedures for their son. Godfrey came towards us and knelt down on one knee as well and said, "Your Majesty, thank you for giving me back my life. If not for my parents, I think I would be crippled and a useless brat for my whole life. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart, Your Majesty." Previously he doesn't know how to call us Majesty but referred me as the King. But today, his speech and mannerism were full of exuberance and it was expected of him to pay his highest respect to us. I simply waved my hands and then announced to them that life has to go on and we soon thanked Priestess Isabela as we made our way down. Gregory, Gina and their son oxon separated ways as they went to walk the grounds of the town square and started to nitride a lot of essential buildings before them. Before that, the moment they left home, all their attention was focused on reaching the hospital and nowhere else. Now that their son is feeling better than before, they could once again restart their life to the fullest. "Ceres, what are the possibility and chances for me to piggyback Heather to the realm?" I asked the guidance system since I had thought of it before and decided against it since it was too early. After I had done numerous meditation and breathing techniques, I felt more confident now. "I thought you had never asked. You can piggyback for 2 hours in the realm which is equivalent to one hour in the real world. It would be a trial and isn't be surprised is she was left behind." "Remember to come in and out together. It would be like bringing those crates with you out to the real world before." Ceres replied to me despite me being jubilant about it. Also, a word of advice was given to me and I would heed that to the highest order. "Dear, get the domain helpers to mind our towns for a while bit. I'm going to bring you to the realm and you can see why I've gone through. All you have to do was to hold my hands and closed your eyes and be one with me, alright?" When Heather heard me she was super excited and kept repeating to me, "Are you sure, dear? Wheee...! Are we going to the realm together? Wheee...!" and a few more whees along the way when we reached the domain. She was literally squealing in delight like a tiny piglet...!
