Audemars had just walked in from the orchard and he seemed to be sitting down on some dead leaves when he was there.
He was brushing his butt to clear off the dead leaves and some dirt as he approached me. Either way, he seems rather cheerful as he came to me from behind and gave me a nibble at my ears.
I giggled like a small silly girl and the twins saw me and laughed at our antics. I gently pushed him away and asked if he had gotten any other breakthrough or not.
"In fact I did, my dear. I was shown back some flurry images and then I saw my old self in some future place called Thailand. It is a little place called Asia and it was named as Siam or affectionately known as the land of a thousand smiles."
"I haven't even got the time to search the maps on where Japan and Thailand are located since it seems that I had spent some considerable time over there."
He mentioned as I made a mental note to find out where in the world is Japan and Thailand. These two countries seemed so close together and since Audemars had said he had spent more time over there, I think it is better for me to take a deeper insight on these two places, including a Polynesia era.
"Don't worry, dear, I will check it out for you once I am done with the meeting I would be conducted later. I had confirmed the senior members of the board and I guessed Marcel and Maricel would be there as well."
I replied as Audemars bobbed his head in acknowledgement. He knew what I would be doing and how I would be handling the matters. Furthermore, he seemed to have gotten a better mood since he had started his meditation processes.
"Thanks, dear. Just now I had the visions of similar traits and abilities as Farah. I am able to visualise a permanent undying flame inside my head and later after lunch I would be heading to the Priests' Guild so that I would be able to harness this new traits and abilities."
"There is this bald-headed man whom I don't even have his name and he was teaching and guiding me in how I could harness the candle flame that was set in front of me to the back of my mind. After that, I managed to stick the flame of the candle at the back of my mind after the umpteenth time."
He explained excitedly and I am also excited to learn more about his abilities. "Do you mean you are able to conjure up heat like food warmer or an oven with the special built-in stones and other materials to keep it at a constant temperature?"
I asked since Priestess Farah was able to do the same and I don't think Audemars would have something similar to it. Then it would be like having two people having the same abilities. Don't it make the other person feel redundant?
I thought to myself and then Audemars chuckled and replied to me that his special abilities were nothing like Priestess Farah since his own was not beneficial to the town's use, unless someone wanted him to light a lighthouse that was locked from the outside...! Hahaha.
Talking about a lighthouse, an idea struck me as I mentioned it to Audemars that utilising a light caster would be beneficial to the town's perimeter walls since it would illuminate any advances from nearby forces from some miles away.
I highlighted this since we study how light could work if being reflected by a shiny surface and being projected towards something in the distance. Audemars nodded his head and told me to proceed into the meeting that would be held later on.
However, a light caster can be just a simple light encased in a light holder but would only be as useful as a table lamp.
But what we are talking about was a light caster they could be used to illuminate great distances and this would also be used to direct fire to the enemies from the town's walls.
I had seen these type of light faster before being used on sailing ships and also the revolving lighthouse.
This acts as a warning sign for the danger of rocks and corals that would be disastrous if any ships got near them. It also acts as a marker that a port is nearby as well.
"Alright, dear. Thanks for the approval. So you would be having lunch now since its ready and been placed on the food warmer? We can talk further about your special abilities as well."
I advised and Audemars gladly agreed to have an early lunch as the twins were also anticipating lunch together. They would be attending the meeting later in as well and interact with the rest of the senior members of the board.
After lunch, Audemars updated to me that he would be at the Priest's guild and he would be found there for some time so he would miss the whole meeting and have me spearheading them instead.
"I'm sure you wouldn't have any problems handling these meetings dear. I had seen you several times correcting me during some of the meetings and the best person to chair the whole meetings would be you."
"Use the journal ad a reference and add notes to it so we could refer it back together, would that be alright, my dear sweet wife?"
I understood his intentions and agreed wholeheartedly as the domain helper helped to clean the dining table and set a few pieces of paper and quills along with ink bottles so that the senior members of the board would use them to take their own notes.
The twins were full and seemed bubbly so they sat in their high chairs as they were fed with some warm strawberry milk. The twins, once they start nodding off to sleep, during the meeting would be carried off to their own beds. As for now, they were enjoying their sweet strawberry milk which had been prepared by Crystal and Old Kayla for all the children in town.
Since the milk was not being sold on the markets, it was made readily available for the growing children. The same goes to the butter and cheese which was not sold out of town but only internally at a very low and affordable price.
The process would be to be tedious and the profits reap would be a negative sign towards all the work that had nene put in. Might as well those products be made ready for our own community.
I prepared the writing slate as I dragged it to the head of the table where I would be chairing the meeting. Once I had set the equipment, I checked the time and found out that it was only 12 midday and workers were just started to stream along to the outdoor dining area for their lunches.
"Guess we are way too early for the meeting, aren't we little darlings? Why don't I bring some books from the study that your daddy had brought back and I would read to you about the history of Polynesia, Japan and Thailand." I suggested to the twins and they clapped their hands when I proceed to the study and retrieved some books pertaining to the world and its heritage and culture.
I went upstairs to retrieve the reference books and saw a thin pamphlet named 'SHOUT' and I guess it belonged to Audemars as he never mentioned to me he had brought any books with him from his realm.
I didn't touch the book since I know it might be an adverse effect if I touch his things without his permission. We both have our own set of rules where we don't touch each other things no matter where and how it was placed.
This is to make sure that we remember where we put our things and not asking around where it was been replaced. It's a weird set of rules but it worked fine with both of us since we used to leave our things around and know exactly where to find and recover them for our own next use...!
I brought the book down and sat in between the twins as I opened up the book and look for Polynesia. In there, it states that Polynesia is a subregion of Oceania, made up of more than 1,000 islands scattered over the central and southern Pacific Ocean.
The indigenous people who inhabit the islands of Polynesia are termed Polynesians, sharing many similar traits including language family, culture, and beliefs.
"It seems that your daddy had landed somewhere in one of these islands in the Polynesian triangle and according to him, he was wearing a strange headdress, a long sleeve tunic and pants. He also related to me he wore a sort of leather flip-flops, which I think I could pinpoint where your daddy had landed."
"Right here... See this map, my little darlings? Daddy ever came to this piece of island that looked like a big piece of land, bigger than ours. Wow... Isn't that great?"
I pointed to a country which was at the Sulu Seas and was named as Mindanao, part of the Philippines Islands.
The twins peered close and almost pushed their noses right into the map of the book as I showed where Audemars might have been ever since he started his transmigration.
When I mentioned that their daddy had been there, the twins looked at the spot I was pointing as if Audemars was there, right there and then...!
I laughed at the twins as I explained about the next two more places — Japan and Thailand.
Japan is an island country in East Asia located in the northwest Pacific Ocean.
It borders the Sea of Japan to the west and extends from the Sea of Okhotsk in the north to the East China Sea and Taiwan in the south.
Japan is part of the Pacific Ring of Fire and comprises an archipelago of 6,852 islands covering 145,937 Square miles.
"Wow...! This Japan had so many islands... There are so much more islands than the first one that your daddy had been to. He must have travelled into one of the 6,852 islands during the future...!"
The twins gaped with awe as they placed their dainty little fists in their mouths as I narrated to them how many more islands that this Japan has.
Thailand, also known as the Island With A Thousand Smiles, is a country in Southeast Asia. Located at the centre of the Indochinese Peninsula, it is composed of 76 provinces and covers an area of 198,120 Square miles.
"Oh... Thailand is just a small country by itself. There are no other islands but it had 76 provinces, just like ours now, we have many cities and towns as well. Wow... Your Daddy really had been here and there and so you think Thailand is as big as England, no?"
I narrate once again to the twins as they shook their heads and it seems that after telling these few places, their eyes were beginning to droop and I asked them if they wanted to go to bed.
The twins looked around for the domain helpers and raised their hands in unison. It seemed the twins would not be joining us for the meeting then.
It would be another 10-15 minutes before the senior members of the board would arrive and I set the huge reference book aside and place Audemars journal in front of me instead.
The twins were then carried off by the domain helpers as I watched them being brought upstairs to the room and felt gratified for being a child that age.
They don't have to worry about a single thing in their lives and all they do would eat and sleep other than pee and poop. Hahaha.
