I stared sadly at my reflection in the bathroom mirror, barely recognizing the person looking back at me. Dark circles covered my eyes and made it lose it's usual sharp glint and the pink highlights for my face that I was usually known for and almost disappear.
I knew I had to prefer for work despite being so weary, so I splashed cold water on my face. I had to wash out the evidence of my tears. I had to wear a bright smile. I have to make sure no one suspected a thing.
