As we left the chaotic scene at the club behind us, I couldn't contain my anger any longer. I looked furiously at Kalton who sat in the driver's seat as he was breathing heavily from what just happened
"What the hell did you do this time?" I spat,
Kalton's eyes wavered to me for a moment before returning to the road. "What are you talking about? I just saved your ass back there, Kyren. You should be thanking me."
I scoffed. "Thanking you? For what? Creating another mess that I have to clean up? You always do this, Kalton. Everything you touch turns to chaos."
"Ungrateful bastard," Kalton muttered under his breath. "Did you forget that I just rescued you from a mob of bouncers? Or were you too busy looking at that b***h to notice”
