Chapter Nine
Four days had passed since their last meeting, and as he waited in the prearranged location for the arrival of his team with their reconnaissance reports, Viper again watched recorded video of the devastation his group had caused.
As he watched, he unconsciously rubbed some of the many scars he had incurred as the result of his encounter with a drone-launched Hellfire missile that destroyed his entire family in a strike in Syria.
With the first target of their operation a success, Viper was busy studying the plans for the next objective on the list provided by his superiors in Iran, and he hoped it would prove to be more dramatic than the first.
