It took less than a day for Harper to receive an initial report about the evidence found at the Lincoln Memorial blast site, and it confirmed his suspicion about the paper he found wadded up in what was left of the backpack someone had introduced the material after the detonation.
Agents continued to review data from security cameras located in the area of the Memorial, and although one showed what appeared to be a distorted image of a person near the top of the steps near the enclosed Lincoln statue, it was not clear enough to be able to identify the intruder.
