Chapter Fifteen
With the technological advancements being made on an almost daily basis, bypassing an alarm system or clandestinely entering a locked house posed little challenge.
Darque had the technology.
Finding out where Harper resided was a relatively simple matter, and once located and put under the control of a surveillance unit, Bugs developed a plan to enter the residence at night.
Since Darque didn’t think time was an unlimited commodity, he and Bugs entered the residence on the scheduled night while an armed team surrounded the structure to ensure the meeting between Darque and the FBI Agent went off undisturbed.
Fortunately, Harper was a heavy sleeper who snored loudly and lived alone, and that made the ensuing encounter easier than it might have been.
