Chapter Twenty-One
The meeting was a bit somber as the terrorists realized how close they had come to being captured or killed.
Viper was bothered more by the fact he had misjudged the American response so badly, than the fact he and his team had almost been eliminated.
No member of his group had detected any clue that their adversary knew who they were or where to find them, and that disturbed him a great deal.
“We are in a bad spot,” announced Viper to the rest of his team, “but fortunately, nothing was left in the warehouse to give away our plans for the remainder of our mission.”
Skink and Shrew nodded their agreement, but Viper noted that Frog was a little less vocal than his other recent utterances, but all three reaffirmed their commitment to the operation.
