As soon as he finished reading the report on his desk, Darque reached for the phone and called Penny, Bugs and Glitch and asked them to come to his office.
While he waited for their arrival, he thought more about the information he had just received and tried to overcome his anger at what he had learned.
He felt he was being drawn into a situation he wanted to handle immediately, but he knew it would be putting his heart ahead of his brain, and that wouldn’t help the overall problem he was currently trying to solve.
After the people he summoned were comfortably seated in his office, Darque turned his attention to Penny.
