Chapter Twenty-Nine The phone call was unexpected but welcomed when Darque looked at the name of the caller and saw the face on the videophone screen. “Charles!” Darque said. “To what do I owe the honor of this call?” Charles Farnsworth was Darque’s representative in Europe, and he oversaw the group’s activities in the majority of cases that took place in that area of the world … and he insisted on being called Charles.
