Chapter Thirty-Two
After Yoda reported what he had encountered in the factory, and along the way, to Darque, the two men went to see Doc to present their concerns.
The scientist listened to them intently while occasionally interjecting his customary ‘ums’ and the ever-thoughtful ‘interesting!’ before asking to see the pictures and video that had been taken at the pipe plant and Viper’s house.
While looking at the pictures of the house Viper was staying in, Doc commented on the way it was situated and constructed.
“The driveway leading down to the garage beneath the house presents a problem,” he said. “It means water, especially rain, may drain down into the garage.”
