The trip through the pipeline to the oil depot was made without incident, and after returning the ‘pigs’ to their stacked-barrel hiding places, the team departed the building and reentered the oil tanker’s secret compartment.
“What’s next?” Darque asked Josh.
“The truck will merge into the line of tankers to be checked before arriving at the filler pipe, and once it takes on its load, the truck will depart the area for the desert rendezvous, and the trip back to Israel,” said Josh.
“It sounds simple,” Said Darque, “but we’ve been lucky so far, and I just don’t think we’re out of the woods yet.”
“What could go wrong?” asked Josh.
“I don’t know,” Darque replied. “That’s what bothers me.”
