Darque recognized one of the voices approaching his office as belonging to Bugs, but the other one, though vague, escaped his memory.
As the two men entered his office, he immediately smiled and rose to his feet to greet Joshua Meyer, the Mossad Agent who had helped Darque and his group in the past, and Bill took the opportunity to renew his acquaintance by sniffing the man’s pants leg before returning to his corner … a sure sign of acceptance.
“The Prime Minister (PM) sends his greetings,” Meyer said as he shook the hand Darque extended toward him.
The Israeli PM was Meyer’s father-in-law, and he and Darque had a shared confidence in each other.
