Chapter 14 June 2 “My father!” Emmett grinned at the messenger and tucked the scrawled note into his vest. He spun away from the entrance and up the stairs towards the library where he’d left Andrewe moments ago. “An—” He caught himself. “Your Highness?” Empty silence met his query, the volume Andrewe had been pawing through without reading abandoned on the wingchair where Andrewe had been lounging. Emmett frowned, tucked the book away, and left the room to continue his search.
