Chapter 9: Greetings

317 Words
"Good morning," I muttered out gently as I stared at her sweetly. My voice was slow, it felt like I didn't want to say this thing at all, but then, greetings at times can break a wall of ice. "My night was restless, I kept up flinging from one corner to the other thinking of something I do not know about," I blurted out. Even as I said these things, I knew I was just lying to myself, there is more to this than what I am thinking about but then, that is it, and there is practically nothing I can do about it. Heaving a gentle sigh, I watched how the nurse approached Norman, and looked keenly at what she was going to do, more like I was on alert, quote noticing everything that is going on. "Why hasn't he woken up?" I asked in a thin, yet reserved voice Deep down in me, I want to know what this is all about, and unless I do so, I do not think that I am going to be fine with it, hell no. Bracing my head on Rose's backside, I wasn't even focused on it, instead, all I wanted to know about was the man laying on the hospital bed, he is my priority right now, and I truly wish things will just work out in a cool way as I've always wanted it to. Rose didn't turn around to face me as she checked on Norman, instead, she was focused on doing the things she like, and that seems to be the most important right now, in case She doesn't really know about it. For a minute, I thought Rose wasn't going to respond to me, but that wasn't quite necessary, and as she swept her eyes to glare at me, I instantly looked her way waiting for her to shoot the words to me.
