Isabella’s POV I barely slept. Every time I closed my eyes, I saw flames—or shadows dancing just beyond memory’s reach. When I finally gave up trying to rest, the sun had barely kissed the sky, but I was already up, sitting cross-legged on the edge of Mia’s couch, staring at the report again. My fingers brushed over the name at the bottom of the page. Dr. R. D. Keller. The name meant nothing to me, but somehow… it felt heavy.
