AVA'S POV Morning light crept across the sheets, a pale, accusing finger that I tried to ignore as I blinked awake. Every inch of my body screamed in protest, a visceral reminder of the hours before. My thighs burned with a deep, muscular ache, and the tender, swollen flesh between my legs thudded with a painful rhythm where he had used me so thoroughly. Faint, bruising marks bloomed across my skin—purple and blue fingerprints where his mouth and hands had claimed me, marking me as his.
