Escaping Reality.

Chapter fourteen

Regina's pov

The ray of the sun cast on my face making me unable to enjoy my wonderful sleep.

Feeling irritated at the brightness of the sun, I opened my eyes. It took me a while to adjust to light .

I glanced at the white ceiling with confusion.

Wait , where am I ?

I remembered fainting at the gate .

'Could it be that I have been kidn*pped' with that idea in mind I sat up immediately from the bed making me dizzy for a while.

I began to think hard to check if I could remember anything. still caught up in my dilemma , something moved beside me , ticking my arm .

" Ahhhh" I screamed without thinking much . Feeling unsecure, I looked down at what was tickling me since it move more vigorously and a blue hair appeared in my sight.

" Shut up ! Will you ?" He said , I looked at the person closely and realized it was Blue Maxwell ! .

" What ! You? What am I doing here ? " I asked in disarray.

" Uhh, you fainted at the gate last night. Don't you remember? " He asked and I shook my head.

" Why can't I remembered, oh my head " I exclaimed observing him more . I noticed he was sitting on the floor dressed in his pajamas and a coat . Omg, how could I make my saviour sit on the floor ? I scratched my head embarrassed.

" So ... You brought me here and took care of me all night " I asked as my face turned red looking at his well sculptured fair face .

" No . " He said looking annoyed. He then points at his coat. " You held me hostage " he stated.

" Huh " I said looking at what he was pointing at . I gasped as I saw that my hand was gripping his coat hard . My fingers were pale probably from the tight grip .

Coming to my senses, I jerked my hand away from his coat . My hand went numb and suddenly became painful. I stretched the fingers on the bed .

" I'm sorry " I mumbled out bowing my head a little.

" Such an hassle " he said chuckling , standing up then walking out of the room. My eyes couldn't help but follows his tall frame outside. He closed the door, leaving my sight . I sighed.

" How could you? " I scolded myself, pinching my numb hand as I got up to ease my self.

I took in the cozy room , smiling at every little thing. Everything in the room was just perfect and warm . I happily passed by the mirror but came back to take a second look.

My smile died as my hands flew to my head .

" OMG! " I exclaimed. My hair was scattered on my head making it look like a bird nest.

" How could you let Blue see you like this ? Your reputation is ruined " I said to myself almost dying of embarrassment. I palmed my face thinking of my encounter with Blue.

I didn't forget about my cooking job which probably starts today . I quickly washed up and checked the room for my big bag but it wasn't there .

"Maybe he forgot to bring the bag along" I thought and wore my clothes from yesterday . Thank goodness I changed before grandpa threw me out or else I'd still be wearing an oversized servant uniform.

I went downstairs, looking around the beautiful interior of the Vila . I passed by few rooms before locating the kitchen. Wearing an apron I found there , I got straight to business and I managed to make pancakes and banana smoothie.

" Regina, you're such a great cook . " I said admiring my work.

Just as I was greedily staring at the food, I heard footsteps coming my way . I raised my head to see the intruder.

I initially thought it was Blue but a young man in casual wear came down from the stairs with a annoyed expression on his face .

He paused when he saw me .

" Good morning" I said nervously fidgeting with my fingers.

I recognized the person at first glance. It was Gwen , popularly known as Blue's wild cat . Any of Blue's fan should know that he is Blue's personal assistant, always showing up on every concert. He seemed to be very close to Blue always talking on interviews or shows on behalf of Blue. He was a handsome guy with black hair. Well , what can I say ? A beautiful person is surrounded by beautiful people.

He rests on the door frame folding his arms scrutinizing me with his gaze .

" Morning Regina . " He replied after a long time making it awkward. He sat on a stool beside the kitchen table.

" So ... I heard you are our new cook. What did you make for breakfast? " He asked making me smile.

" I didn't know you guys taste . So I made pancakes and banana smoothie. A simple morning dish " I said.

" Wow . You must really like food " he said with a chuckle and I glanced at him with a questioning look , almost regretting it as I got stuck into his brown eyes.

" Your eyes are glowing " he stated " and it's either two things; one you really love food or two you really love working with blue . " He added.

" Can't I love both ? " I asked unsure of what to say.

" You see , we don't accept fans as employees or else they might take some things personal. Some times they try to stalk their idol to the extent of revealing their private life to the press . Horrible right? " He asked crossing his arms.

I nodded speechlessly.

" I don't want any stumbling block on our way this time . So I hope you are not a fan of Blue, just be someone who loves food or you will be fired immediately " he concluded and I was unable to refute any of his words though they're not settling well with me ' a Very obsessed fan ' .

Blue appeared all of a sudden , smacking Gwen's head hard .

" Ouch! What was that for !" He exclaimed. My eyes snapped towards Blue who was dressed in sports trousers and a white loose t-shirt . His shirt was soaked with sweat , making it cling to his body . I swallowed hard adverting my gaze immediately.

Opps I almost bursted my bubbles . What an unholy sight !

To make matters worse Blue grabbed a stool and sat before me placing his hand on the kitchen table making a slight tap . The mild sound made me jolt out of my trance .

" I'll have my breakfast now " he said completely ignoring Gwen. I nodded, adverting my eyes to serve the pancakes and smoothie properly on the kitchen table.

" Man , you should take a shower again" Gwen told him and he nods indifferently.

" After a finish eating" he replied.

I could feel Blue's eyes on me the whole time but I refused to meet his gaze . I served the breakfast as quickly as I could before turning to leave.

" Regina" Blue called out my name and I paused.

That alpha voice made me unable to resist meeting his gaze . His blue eyes pierced my soul making me petrified. His blue hair scattered on his face complementing his eyes , making him look like a celestial being.

" Aren't you going to join us" he asked breaking my trance .I mentally slapped my self at my dumbness.

" I ... I'll eat later " I managed to reply before dashing upstairs to my room.

I slammed the room door close before sliding to the floor.

Why is it so hard to leave with your idol .

' focus Regina! If you get fired you'll have no where to go you dumbass . you barely managed to get a roof over your head ! ' I thought to myself.

But he was so cool down there . What do I do ?

I'm doomed .
