The morning sun shone on my face and I squeezed my eyes shut at the sharp brightness . I opened my eyes slowly, black dots covered my sight for a while before finally clearing up. I looked up to see a white ceiling. Realizing I was in an unfamiliar place, I jumped up from the small bed before recognizing it was a hospital.
"Ahhh" I groaned as pain surged through my body. All my bones seemed to have been broken. I sat up slowly running my fingers through my tangled hair .
" damn it ! , the Wilson family are really something " I cursed angrily before I heard someone clear their throat . I looked around and saw a nurse standing at the door looking at me with wide eyes .
"um... sorry" I muttered and she gave me a small smile. She must have been frightened by my temper .
"No problem, Miss Regina. it's just that the people who brought you left without signing the forms and paying" the nurse said just as I expected.
" it's fine , I'll sort it out myself" I replied as I struggled to get out of bed. I dipped my hand into my hoodie pocket and gave the nurse some money. I sighed inwardly, that money was supposed to be used as my transport to Blue's concert.
" Thanks. You are discharged, and stay away from thugs." she said with a smile and left, while I just looked on, confused.
It took me a while to understand the meaning of her words .
What thugs?... they beat me up and blamed it on thugs . Really?
I sighed helplessly and reached into my pocket to grab my phone, I can't believe I passed out for so long .At this point, I reminisced about all my past suffering. I didn't want to remember, and reality was so glaring that I felt suffocated.
I quickly played one of Blue's piano songs and it soothed my clenching heart. This was how I survived and I didn't know why only Blue's piano songs could calm me down. I scrolled through my phone to read some news about Blue's concert. I looked at the headlines and gasped in surprise at the renowned pianist's fate.
# Blue's car accident on his way to a life changing concert
# Blue broke his left hand
# Blue fails to participate in concert.
What! How did this happen? I watched a video of him smiling and waving at the camera despite having a cast on his arm.
Ugh, what a stroke of bad luck. Blue is probably two or three years older than me and at that young age he had become a celebrity with honor. I really admire his success and personality . One thing I could never have. The surprising thing about him is that he attends the same school as me but I've never seen him in school. I heard that he attends a special class in my school which justifies why ordinary students like me never see him.
"Ahh, my poor Blue," I lamented as I walked out of the hospital sadly. I have no money for cab so I'll just walk back home .
After dragging my body on the road for a good twenty minutes, I stopped to catch my breath . Just then , my phone rang. Looking at the screen my face paled with fear as I saw it was mother .
I picked the call .
" where are you right now" she asked shouting.
" I'm on my way home" I replied frowning my brows.
"Hurry up and clean the house before I come back. The servants are on leave ! " Mom said and hung up.
What leave? she probably sent them away just to get me to do the house chores.
I looked at my phone for a while before walking onto a bridge. I hadn't even reached the middle before I sighted someone sitting on the rail with his feet dangling a bit as if about to fall into the river.
I stopped in my tracks as I saw the boy had a deep blue hair and his back was facing me . The back view made him look like my Blue . I decided to take another good look at him and I realized that he was wearing a cast on his left arm.
No way , It was definitely Blue.
