Michelle drove her sleek black car to a luxury hotel and parked. Her eyes were filled with tears. Her head was filled with pain and betrayal. Her heart hurt, and she felt like strangling herself.
"Why, Pascal?" She cried, slamming on her steering wheel as she turned off her car.
The memory of seeing her husband's c**k deeply rooted within her best friend's cave was traumatizing.
"It hurts," Michelle cried, still seated in her car.
No matter how she tried to act like it didn't hurt her, she could feel the weight of their betrayal pressing down on her chest.
Her breathing hitched, but knowing that life was a beautiful gift of nature, she couldn't commit suicide because of Pascal. She had been there before, and she believed she would get over it all.
Her phone rang in her handbag multiple times, but Michelle made no attempt to answer the call.
She picked up her white handkerchief and got out of the car.
She made her way into the hotel lobby to register and lodge for a while.
"Any problems, miss? You look so sad?" The kind hotel receptionist asked Michelle when she met her gaze.
"No, I'm fine. I just need a break from the outside world," Michelle replied with a soft voice, and the receptionist nodded before proceeding to check the available rooms.
Just then, two luxury black cars drove into the hotel premises and parked. The first car was a red Rolls Royce Phantom, and the second, a black Bentley. The doors swung open, and two men emerged. Their bodyguards stood aside and waited.
They were Michelle's brothers. Larry Williams, who was a 32-year-old man, and Kenneth, who was a 29-year-old man.
Both wore black suits as they got the news reports of the Thompson Group's CEO cheating scandal. Quickly, Larry had sent his assistant to dig into Michelle's whereabouts. He suspended his office work and hopped into his black Bentley in search of his sister.
Kenneth, too, was a top surgeon in the city. He suspended the patients he had on board and rushed over in his red Rolls Royce to find his sister. They got the notification that Michelle was at the Deluxe Five Star Hotel, so they arrived to take her home.
Before the hotelier could arrive to show Michelle to the room she wanted to lodge, Larry walked into the hotel lobby, his tall, formidable features commanding respect as he was the current CEO of the Williams Corporation in Sun City.
"Michelle, game over, and you've to come home with me, now," Larry ordered. He had been keeping tabs on Michelle's whereabouts and had his men secretly protecting her.
Michelle paused and looked at her two older brothers who strode forward to take her back. She wasn't hidden from them. She had begged them to help her keep her identity a secret.
She was broken, devastated, and didn't want to return home, at least not in her current state.
She burst out crying as her older brother finally approached her.
"It's okay, sister. You don't have to cry or shed tears because of that scumbag. Mom and Dad are waiting to welcome you home," Larry explained, knowing that his parents were furious at Michelle for cutting ties with them, all because she wanted a true lover, a man who wouldn't judge her or pretend to love her for her family's fortune.
Kenneth stepped forward too, his tone softened as he said, "Sis, we are not judging you. You cannot stay here. Let's go home now."
The hoteliers' eyes widened in shock, as they were yet to receive the news of Pascal's betrayal, even though his cheating videos were trending on the top headline news.
"I'm sorry," Michelle managed to whisper. "I shouldn't have run away from home. I shouldn't have trusted Pascal," she cried as her brothers wrapped her.
Those hotel staff who wanted to record Michelle's broken state and post her on the news met a deadly stare from Kenneth.
"Anyone who is found guilty of illegal recording my sister will go to jail for ten years with no bail or parole," Kenneth threatened, and the bodyguards stepped forward to block the guests, threatening to arrest and destroy the phones of anyone caught recording Michelle.
Larry crossed his arms around Michelle's shoulder and led her outside the hotel premises.
Just then, a black Lexus Jeep pulled up, and Pascal hastily got out, walking forward to meet Michelle. He had already gotten the update that Michelle was spotted at the Deluxe Five Star Hotel in Sun City.
"Babe," Pascal shamelessly strode forward to meet her. He tried to take her back, but before he could speak, two men in black captured him, and Larry ordered, "Give him the beating of his life and break his legs."
"No, brothers. You cannot do that," Michelle spoke up, stopping her brothers from taking her away.
Larry frowned. "Are you still trying to protect and defend this bastard?" He asked his sister, his voice cold.
Michelle nodded and looked downward. "He doesn't worth getting beaten up. I will divorce him. That's the best thing to do."
Larry and Kenneth's expressions darkened as they glared at Pascal.
"We are not aware that you married our sister. If you come after Michelle again, we will sue you to court for kidnapping, and also, keeping our sister away from us. Get ready to sign the divorce, unless you want to see your company crumble," Larry warned Pascal, his voice dripping with ice as he glared at him.
Pascal was forced to kneel under the scorching sun. He watched Larry lead Michelle to the black Bentley and he called out desperately for her.
"Babe, I'm sorry! Believe me. I do not want to divorce you. Fiona lied to me. She tricked me into deceiving me!" Pascal cried out, watching as Michelle entered the car. She did not look back at him. He tried to fight the bodyguards holding him down, but the cars drove off, and he watched helplessly as Larry's car drove off with Michelle.
"How did I lose my wife? How did I lose everything?" Pascal wailed as the bodyguard let go of him. They got into Michelle's car and drove it away while Pascal watched helplessly, knowing that this was the beginning of his downfall. He had let go of the woman who built him when he was struggling, all because of Fiona's lies and deceit.
"Fiona!" Pascal growled her name as his expression darkened. He quickly got into his car and drove back to her house in search of her, trying to avoid the stares of those recording him in the hotel parking lot.
