As I walked out of Mr Lawson's room, I kept wondering what made him apologize to me. He didn't look like the type of man that owned up to his mistake so his action took me by a huge surprise. I couldn't even say a word. I was astonished and my mind kept wandering to find the answer to that single action of his. I frowned as I recalled the past events. He had asked me to escort him as a date to a very important meeting, gave me an expensive dress and even worse; he regarded me as his wife in the midst of everyone and was so relaxed about it.
