Tiara froze and her heart skipped a beat. She knew that voice, “Zachary?”
Carley jumped when Tiara screamed out Zachary’s name and suddenly jerked up into a sitting position. Her eyes were wide and her arm was reaching out toward something. Her breath was coming out in short, hyperventilating gasps and she looked around wildly.
Tiara looked around trying to figure out what had happened. She was disoriented and her arm was reaching out in front of her. Realizing it had only been a dream… she lowered her arm and brought her knees up under her chin. Wrapping her arms around her legs, she fought to control the tears that were racing down her cheeks.
