“I am thinking you and I go somewhere a little quieter, and less crowded,” she asserts. “Like where?”
“Like…my place.” My first reaction inside is an unequivocal ‘yes!’ I want to see her place and learn more about her. I want to see what some real time alone would feel like. But I am also a little apprehensive. I feel like I want to, but I don’t know if it’s a good idea. I must be taking too long with my internal dialogue because all of a sudden she answers for me.
“Good, it’s settled then. I will take care of the bill and we will be on our way. Need to use the restroom before we go Ms. Keller. I will wait right here for you. I promise.” That slinky smile again. I know she is referencing the other night. Did I agree to this and not even know it?
