That One Incident

Chapter 3: A wolf in the mist.

RECAP:

Due to the project, Kelly decided to drop off the bus and stop by a convenience store to buy a few things there. She picked up some markers, stick glue, and a cutter, she also bought snacks like ought some snacks like bags of chips and drinks like soft drinks and Yakult. Above all, Kelly also grabbed something to eat for dinner. She then went to the waiting area outside the store and waited for the bus.

Once Kelly got up, there it was, a striking white light. The light slowly became more vivid, and as it does, she noticed that the objects around it were being absorbed by it, and as it does, it became wider and nearer.

"OH MY GOD!!!, don't tell me that's a vortex!????"-she yelled with a frightened face and an agitated tone of voice.

Chapter 3: A Wolf In The Mist.

Kelly panicked even more, she tried to get up and run, but no matter how far she gets, it just seems like the vortex is expanding faster.

As Kelly ran, she kept looking back to check if she is far from the opening. While the place continued to be covered in the purple mist, the vortex grew wider and larger, seeing this, Kelly attempted to try to run faster but because she kept looking at her back, checking how far she has gone, she was unable to focus on where she was going. She ran and viewed what was behind her again but this time, she slammed into an electrical post.

Kelly got dizzy due to the impact of the hit and fell to the ground, she crashed into the post a bit too hard due to her speed and she couldn't stand up. he breathes heavily as she attempts to get up and sit. Kelly leaned on the post and struggles to seek cover or escape, but unfortunately, she was already too tired and lightheaded to even move a muscle to get anywhere far.

Without having any more choice, Kelly tried to accept her fate. She lifted her head and looked in the direction of the purple rayed vortex to see where it was, knowing she couldn't get away from it, she started to get scared but still had a slight indescribable feeling of glee.

"Well, well- I didn't think life could get this troublesome yet interesting"-Kelly said with a witty tone of voice.

Kelly stared into the vortex once more, but this time, she saw that it was covered by fog and as it multiplies it started to become difficult to view the vortex since it was blurry. She continues to look at it until a part of it became dark, and a figure seems to form. Not so far away from the insides of the vortex, Something seems to be coming out. She squinted and tried to get a better look at what was about to come out, and she was shocked. The figure seems to be an animal and a huge one. It looked as if it was walking in her direction, seeing this, Kelly was startled and got goosebumps, she did not expect it to turn out like this.

The animal-like figure slowly became clear as it gets near. It walks in a slow manner toward Kelly's direction. She didn't look away from it and was sure to herself that she wanted to know what it was. The figure slowly became vivid and after it steps a few more times, it was clear, the figure was a wolf. Kelly was stunned. She thought for a second and then asked. Kelly remembered the scene she witnessed while she was at the bus station near the convenience store.

"Am I hallucinating? Or is this the same creature from earlier?"

The wolf slowly approached her, it has blue eyes and black and gray fur. It looked angry. As it became closer, it started to see her clearly and so it became wary. The wolf's ear stuck backward and it started growling.

Seeing this, Kelly started to become more nervous. She started to tremble and shake as the animal looking so irate walked towards her. As it comes closer, Kelly couldn't help but shed a tear as she turned blue.

Before Kelly could even get all sentimental, the wolf walked close to her. In front of Kelly, the wolf growled with eyes burning with the look of fury. Out of nowhere, it suddenly howled as if it was calling for something or rather to declare that he found his territory, after it howled, it suddenly bit her in the neck.

Kelly felt the pain in her neck, as her blood slowly flows out, she discerns the feeling of the wolf's canine digging into her neck. She tried to fight back but it backfired as she bled and passed out.

*Water splashing*

"Aghhh, Where am I? Why is it wet? What is that sound?"

Kelly slowly opens her eyes to witness that she wasn't where she originally was. "Where am I?" she asked with a concerned tone.

She sat down and as she does, she started to be amazed at what was around her. There were plenty of trees of different colors. She stood up and turned around, and a magnificent view caught her attention. Behind her was a waterfall, the water flows endlessly into the tarn, and the sound of it echoes in the place like the shimmer of a chime. Many rock formations can be seen around the place, and mist from the waterfall reaches the rocks causing them to scintillate with the ray of the bright sun.

Kelly was bewildered. The consecutive events didn't add up. She started to walk around the place, but there was very little land to walk through. She then hesitantly closed her eyes and step on the water. she stand in the same position for a few seconds making sure that she wasn't going to fall, she then gently opened her eyes.

From Kelly's point of view, the water seemed shallow and so she took another step but this time, she fell-.
