The Lady

Third person’s pov

An old fashioned lady stepped in.

A beautiful mid aged lady, who appeared older than her age, but a goddess.

Hovig and mrs Garine followed her. 

Everyone in the room was silent and admiring the moment.

Sevag was surprised and shocked. His eyes wide open in shock, his fallen jaw was the proof of his amazement. He couldn’t believe his eyes. 

His mother, She was his MOTHER, standing tall in front on him. 

The lady, Kayane. 

She was on her feet, smiling.

Moving. 

Greeting.

She was wearing beautiful cloths unlike her usual cloths, she was wearing shoes, oh my God, lipstick, her hair, her handbag. 

She was beyond amazing.

His Mother was fully recovered.

Kayane greeted all and finally she approached to her son who was really in shock and wasn’t able to move a finger. She stood facing him, although he was much taller and bigger than her, she looked into his eyes, she was still speaking to her son with her eyes. She cupped his face and…” Sevag, I miss you son.”she said and hugged him tightly. Kissing him from deep inside her heart, inhaling his pure smell into the bottom of her lungs, inside her soul. She missed him a lot, its been so long she couldn’t hug her son.  

Sevag was yet to recognize what was going on, he finally was awake by Hovig’s poke to his back, and he suddenly began to cry loud, hugging his mother to his chest, kissing her face and hands. 

“Mom, you are … amazing. You can talk, you can walk and… wow everything, mom… oh mom… I miss you, I really needed your hug and kiss and your hands over my shoulder and… mom, thank you.”he said crying loud.

She patted him and said:-“ we will recover our lost years son, we will hold each-other’s hands and never let go, we will revenge, and we are never going to be apart again till death. I will always support you, I will always have your back, right Hovig?”as she looked at Hovig, and turned her face to Heinrich,” right Heinrich?”, they both nodded. 

Mr Ben:-“ we are happy to see you Lady, and yes you are so right, we are going to help Sevag get his chair…”

Kayane:-“I really don’t want Sevag in drug dealing or murdering or gambling, I don’t want him to involve, you guys, all you five, will handle everything, each one of you will get his job, Sevag will only be the boss, everything else you are responsible for, he won’t include and will never appear in the field, he will know every single thing but won’t move a finger, he will be a businessman, just a businessman. Then in the end, when we get everything back to normal, after all these years, he will come out of the shadows and reveal himself. Understood?”

Sevag’s pov

I didn’t know my mother had a strong character, I was really surprised by her words and actions, the way she behaved and commanded, the way she spoke, the words she used. I really had no idea who my mother was, I never saw her talking never witnessed her moves. But look at her now, she is wonderful. I was staring at her admiringly, I was… was she my mother? I wished she would have raised me by herself, I know and I am sure I was going to become much stronger and willed, or maybe I was going to hide behind her huge shadow? I don’t know, I don’t even want to think about these, I am glad that my mother is doing fine and I am proud of her. One more thing, I always wanted my mother to be proud of me, but after seeing her in her strongest position I wanted to prove myself to her, that I was her son. I wanted her to feel proud of me  much more than before. 

Everybody was distracted. Mom went to her room to rest. Mia was preparing the food, mr five guys were in a meeting, Anna and mrs Garine were plying and I was feeling happy seeing the puzzle getting solved little by little. 

Garen was sitting next to me when he said:-“ and what am I suppose to do after now?”

I looked at him and thought about his loyalty, and his friendship and his help from day one, I answered:-“ I want you to become second Hovig to me, Hovig was my father’s most trustworthy man and his best friend, and now I propose you to become my best friend and my most trustworthy man, would you accept it and be loyal to me? If not, you may leave now.”

Garen smiled  back to me and…”sure man, I am your beat friend and I will stay loyal to you.”

Sevag:-“ ok then, you will be my precious friend and help me. You will go back to Lebanon with me, live there and build a life there, and we will see what life brings us in the future.”

Garen agreed and I was glad. 

I also trusted Hovsep but Garen was different, he always reminded me of Hovig and I was sure, I needed someone like Hovig close to me, even though Hovig was present and I trusted him blindly, I wanted someone to replace him after freeing him, yes! I 1 put in mind to free him to have a life with Mia and Anna, he deserved that, I will keep him next to me but keep him safer than myself, because he kept me safe all these years.

I shooed Meghety away from my life, and with the past few months, I lost a sister by sleeping with her, I lost a partner when she cheated on me, and I lost my trust in women. If Meghety, the one who was in love with me for years did this to me, what would a new girl do? I couldn’t have another Liana in my life, and Meghety was just like her mother. 

I was sitting with Garen when Hovig called me to the study room, I stood up and headed to the room, when I noticed I was walking alone, I stood back and looked at Garen:-“come on, from now on you will always be with me next to me.”

We both went inside.

There were 4 empty chairs when I sat at the head of the table. I looked at Hovig who was on my right, and am empty chair on my left for Garen, next to Hovig another empty chair and the chair facing me was also empty. When finally the door was open and my mom got in, Mia following her. Mia sat next to Hovig and my mom facing me. 

Hovig:-“ this is our first meeting, this is the first and the last time we enter the meeting room after or with the boss and the lady. We are here to get our jobs and know our responsibilities.”

Hovig started to talk and explain each ones’s job and responsibility, my mom was watching in silence. 

Hovig:-“mr Heinrich, you are only responsible of the banking, and you will report me everything.

Mr Ben, you continue your job as sales in the companies, but you also will have the responsibility in drugs and weapon dealing, you also will report everything to me.

Mr Oscar, you will continue your job as transportation, but you will be responsible for transporting drugs and weapons, so you will have to work with Ben and report me everything.

Mr Moritz, as a development department, you also will continue your job, but besides you will handle gambling responsibility. We don’t want any problems, report me everything.

Mia you are responsible as an accountant, you will know each cent where does it come from or where it goes, deal? 

And you Garen, watch me, watch me carefully, you will need a lot of things to learn from me, you will be Sevag’s right hand, be with him everywhere anytime, not as a guard but as his trustworthy man.

And I will watch you all, understood?

Lady, do you have anything to add on my words? I have organized as you planned.”

Kayane:-“ thank you Hovig, this is everything gentlemen, you may leave now.”

A team of 9, we all started working. 

I was working hard at uni, drug dealing and weapon dealing started to grow faster as I considered, we opened 2 companied in Lebanon and one in Germany by using the money in the bank which my father kept for me, and 2 mini underground hidden casinos, one in Lebanon and the other in Germany. 

Tik-tak-tik-tak-tik-tak, the time was passing fast, our business was growing fast, I was earning money too fast, my bank account was increasing rapidly, and in 1 years I became rich. 

Its been 3 years in Germany, and I had an army.

Vrej called me one morning.
