“What’s the number one on your list?”
“Like I will tell you.” She laughs.
“Okay, number two.”
“Nah!”
“Number three?”
“They’re all done!”
“Okay, number five?”
“Why didn’t you ask for number four?”
“Like hell you will tell,” I say, pouting as I get out of the car. I walk to her side to help her get out.
“Teasing Phoenix,” She says quietly.
“What?” I hold her hand that has her engagement ring and our wedding band and I plant a kiss on it.
“That’s number four.
“Teasing Phoenix.” I smile at her. “It’s barely done. You can tease me more.”
“If that’s what you want.”
I kiss her forehead. “Now, we must search for two names.”
“I know, but we still have time.”
“We’ll do it after you’re done poking me tonight.”
