Clarabelle's Point of View
I am still staring at Alexander who is waiting for my answer if I can go out with him. My heart is telling me to go with him but my mind is shouting at me not to. Even though all I want is to say yes to him. I want to be with my husband even for a short time.
“Alexander, please. Let's not make it hard for both of us." I mutter.
What he is doing would make us both in pain. If he is saying the truth that he still loves me, he will end up being hurt emotionally since we can't be together because we are not meant to be.
