Alexander's Point of View
I was going to bring her something to eat which is her favorite food but I don't want her to feel that I am forcing her with everything. She is in pain so I need to be strong for her even though the pain inside me is killing me every day. Laura is my daughter too and it hurts me not to be with her anymore. I want to cry all day too but I can't. I need to take care of Clarabelle and the company.
Slowly, I opened the door and see her peacefully sleeping. The sun is not fully shining yet but I need to leave her here which I don't want to do but people are depending on their work at the company. Some of them have kids to feed too so I can't let the company go down.
“I will be back, my love," I said caressing her cheeks. “Please eat. I don't want to lose you too."
