27 “CAREFUL WITH THIS ONE,” BENNETT said, handing Mitch an antique crystal serving bowl etched with delicate flowers. He’d talked Mitch into forgoing his regular morning surf to help him clean up after the wedding. After making a pot of coffee, the two men had collected dirty dishes and went to work. Bennett submerged his hands into the soapy dishwater to retrieve another piece.
