He grabbed his bag ready to leave. “Can we just go?” he said coldly. She nodded not knowing what to say. Wordlessly, she directed him towards the exit. She put his bag in the boot of a beat-up Toyota car. He got into the passenger seat almost immediately. After he had settled down, he plugged in his earphone blocking out the world. He stared out the window as the car out, slowly gaining momentum as it got to the highway. ‘Did he even make a mistake of coming back home? How was he even supposed to connect to people he knew nothing of?’ He wondered angrily. He had a lot to say and ask, but he couldn’t bring himself to ask.
