The two took their seats at the dining table. Since Vivi Lynch was treating him and had chosen the venue, Frank Yates looked to her to start.
"Let me see the menu first," Vivi said.
"Certainly." The waiter handed the menu to her with both hands.
Vivi flipped through it, ordering as she went. "Halibut Tartare, Creamy Lobster Bisque, and the Sashimi Platter."
After selecting three dishes, she passed the menu to Frank. "I ordered their specialties. See what you want."
Frank scanned the list and selected a "Seafood Trio," then handed the menu back to the waiter.
"Sir, for the Seafood Trio, you need to accompany me to the tanks to select your fresh ingredients."
