The ponytail girl was furious. She shoved Frank Yates away violently.
"If you aren't a doctor, why are you stabbing my grandfather with needles? Are you trying to kill him?!"
Frank stood his ground, his eyes fixed on the old man. "Don't listen to them. I've already stabilized your grandfather's condition. Just one last needle, and I can eradicate the poison completely."
His heart was tied to the patient on the ground. He knew how close he was to saving a life.
The girl, however, wasn't buying it. "Eradicate my a*s! If you poke him again, I... I'll bite you to death!"
Just as she finished her threat, the old man coughed. A mouthful of black blood spewed from his lips, staining his silk shirt.
