443 Words
JEENA'S P. O. V I was 19 and focused on getting my degree after my many short but failed relationships. I was young so I had time and the adventure of finding Mr. Right could wait. One of my favorite but costly hobbies was shopping. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't a rich girl, I was a middle class girl and had a part time job in an ice-cream shop to pay for my expenses, but I was content with my life. I had many friends, I was always smiling and was known to brighten up the day for others. Since I was studying towards my teaching degree from home I was able to pursue my hobbies as I please. So here I was shopping, not for anything in specific but rather anything that catches my eye. I loved shopping in Qweet mall, the interior was breath-taking with it's Italian theme it took me to a place I've always wanted to visit, Italy. A few hours had passed by and many bags filled my hands. As I was rushing to get to my favorite clothing store before it can close, I felt a bump and stumbled on my heels, there I was on the floor utterly embarrassed with my bags scattered around me. Anger filled my mind but as I looked up too see the i***t who has caused my fall, I saw a young and quite attractive man who was now holding his hand out expecting me to let him help me back up. "Can't you see where you are walking?"I spat out angrily." I'm sorry, Miss, I was in a hurry and didn't see you" he replied while still holding out his hand. A slight blush crept into my cheeks as I took his hand and allowed him to help me back up. After he made sure that I was okay he resumed in picking up all my scattered belongings. "Once again, I apologize, I hope I can make it up to you, let me take you out for lunch sometime?" he said with a charming smile. "Only if you promise not to drop me down again" I said jokingly. " Great, I'll let my P. A contact you and we can set a date, may I know the name of the person whom I fortunately bumped into?" he flirted. " Jeena, Jeena Carlson, and you are?" I've asked holding my hand out for a hand shake. Shaking my hand in the most gentle way "Joe Ericson" he replied and gave me his phone to add my number. With that we said our goodbyes and both parted ways until our date.
