Chase's POV:
"Another goddamn scandal?! Just what are you doing?" My dad yelled at me but I responded by turning the volume of the music
Seriously, he ran after me all the way towards my room. I already had hell of a bad dad.
Had to deal with this crazy woman and this son of a b***h who threw a bloody shoe at me and moreover threw up on me!
That motherfucker got away!
I swear I'm gonna kill him the next time I see him.
"CHASE!" My dad yelled this time and snatched the remote from my hands to turn the volume off
"What dad?" I yelled out in annoyance
"Don't you dare talk to me in that tone! What's with this news that you got someone pregnant? Last time you had a scandal with a man and now it's a girl?!" He asked in disbelief
"There's a word call 'Bi'." I replied rolling my eyes
I'm not in the mood for this conversation
First of all, my dad's retiring and I have to continue the succession as the CEO. It's bothersome already.
"I will not let you damage the reputation of my company so easily! And I mean every word Chase." My dad emphasized on each word
I gritted my teeth in anger.
He was still in control. If he wanted I would be bloody out of the designing industry.
It's not always the talent you need, power is also a necessity.
I sat back at the sofa and this time my tone was calm
"She's lying dad. The news say that I got her pregnant and forced her for an abortion, but just think..you monitor my every movement, your manager keeps track on me.
So how did the paparazzi get this news before you?
She obviously made it up?
I mean who doesn't want to get married to Chase Knight?"
"Because I know this is a fake news, I'm still trying to help you out." He mutter
"This can't go on, the CEO of Le Elegance can't have a reputable of a man whore."
I rolled my eyes at my dad
"And what kind of torture for me have you found out this time?"
"Engagement." He said and I look at him in surprise
Man the word 'commitment' doesn't suit Chase Knight.

"Not happening." I let out a laugh but my dad sure didn't find it funny
"You can't be serious dad." I added but his expression was still the same
"Don't worry, it's only a one year contract. We have found a candidate. He's a man. Well either goes for you so that won't be a problem."
He sighed
I got up from my seat
"The point is not that he's a man, the point is who is that man?"
"The son of my assistant. Don't worry, they're only interested in the money part so it won't be hassle for you.
Just bear with a contract for a year." My dad replied
"So even you don't know that person? I can't believe this." I raised my hands in disbelief
The media is creating a turmoil about your love affairs and there are few days left until you finally get your debut. Don't mess up this time! Within this short amount of time, that's the best I found who'll not be troublesome later on, after you guys spilt." I listened to my dad calmly
Well as long as that person's existence doesn't bother me.
"So when does that agreement of yours start?" I asked
"Tomorrow, 9 am. Get dressed properly and don't try anything funny."
Dad said as he closed the door
"f**k!" I said as I kicked the side of my bean bag
This mess is continuing longer than I expected.
And now this man..whom I don't know but soon to be my fiance.
I sighed as I laid on the bed.
Too much drama for today.
Fuck the media, all they need is just a single line and they make a story on their own.
The plot, starter, climax and the ending.
And then there's this old man of fine.
His company, company and company.
I'm sure, if he could, he would have transferred everything to his beloved employees.
Damnit!
Already dealing with too much hassle and a new one comes up.
