Chapter 1: Sold

"Ellia!" A loud, screeching voice pierced through Ellia's ears. Madeline, Ellia's mother, pulled the black duvet covering her body. " Get up before I drag you down myself."  "Alpha Black is coming tonight. Prepare all the food PROPERLY." She sternly said. her eyes growing large. "Yes miss."

Since Ellia was born, her mother forbid her to call her 'mom'. After all, Madeline got pregnant at the age of fourteen because of some insane Orgy she joined with the rogues. Ellia's father was rogue who was cast out because of sleeping with the former Luna.

At the age of seven, Ellia still couldn't read nor write. Her mother did not even care to register her in a school. She thought it was a waste of money.

And so Ellia learned to read and write by herself. the people inside her pack could not care anyless about her. They did not despise her. But they did not like her either. Ellia was one of those they called 'Denied' those kids who were made accidentally. Ellia's eyes darted towards the clock laid beside her. 

'6:00pm'

" That was a long nap." she whispered to herself. Her toes met the cold. wooden floor of the attic. She looked at herself in the mirror before taking a deep breath. She was not sure why Alpha Black of the storm pack decided to visit them. His pack contained three thousand warriors. And defendors and people aren't even counted in it.

The reason why Alpha Black decided to visit all of the sudden was a mystery.

'7:00pm' 

Ellia wiped the sweat covering her forehead before taking the last tray of Pudding to the refrigerator. " 1, 2, 3, 4,5,6,7,8,9,10.." She counted the batches of food servings, making sure she didn't forget any for other guests.

" That should be enough." she muttered.

"Ellia! are the foods ready?" Madeline asked, peeking her head from the wooden doors of the small kitchen. She subtly nod. " I'll deliver then outside. Do you understand?" "Ye-" before Ellia could even mutter, a loud honk of a car halted her speech, grabbing both of the female's attention.

" Alpha Black is here." Here mother squealed with excitement as she went out to greet him. Ellia has not seen Alpha Black before. so with pure confusion and interest, she walked towards the window.

She could only see little silhouettes of people in a black suite and tie, as the window was covered with fog of dirt brought by centuries of time. She tiptoed, trying her best to catch a glimpse of the Alpha. But to no avail, she could not see him. She gave up and focused her attention on the foods laid perfectly on the table.

Alpha Black entered the small hall of the pack. His aura dominating the homey feeling and turning it into a dark, enigmatic energy filled with tension. his black hair was perfectly styled, wearing the finest suite. He carried himself with confidence. Fully dominating the room with every stride he took.

"Alpha Black! Pleasure to have you here!" Alpha Gynus welcomed him with pride.

Alpha Black did not respond to his greetings. His face contoured with ice. When he reached the table, his immediately sat on the chair, placing the black envelope on the table.

The guards from the Storm Pack where Alpha Black came from, scattered around the hall. Some even outside the small hall, guarding the door incase any unexpected event happens. Eight fabulous, expensive cars were present outside. All for Alpha Black himself.

Tho the moon shone brightly above the sky, some kids and other family came out to see the heavily guarded hall. Trying their best to catch a glimpse of the power Alpha. "What brings you here, Alpha?" Alpha Gynus asked nervously. His head bowed down, fully showing his nape, submitting to the alpha infront of him. But the man who sat still like stone did not bother to reciprocate any reply.

Sweat started to drown Alpha Gynus' face. For it was not everyday that Alpha Black would show himself to other packs. Infact, he would just ask one of his inner circle to investigate instead of carrying the problem on his own. The thought of Alpha Black visiting the lowest pack in the rank made people nervous.

"Please, Alpha, let us serve you tonight with our feast first. I'm sure you're starving after a long journey." Again, Alpha Black stayed silent. His eyes, hooded with an emotionless facade.When he did not reply, Alpha Gynus nodded towards Madeline who was standing just outside the kitchen door. Madeline got the message and immediately went inside the kitchen.

When Madeline opened the door, Alpha Gynus went rapid. His wolf sent a little growl inside him, as it paced back and fourth. He was curious what it meant but decided to ignore it.Madeline once again opened the door and there it was. The sweet lavander of perfume invaded his nostrils. Tho it was faint and almost isn't noticable because of the food that layered the smell, it was still there.

The woman went up and infront of the table serving the young Alpha his Feast. But even the woman did not smell like the unique scent. His eyes darted towards the food. He was sure that whoever made them knows what he's doing. But none of the food didn't capture the scent.

And so he sighed. Dismissing his wolf and forgetting the idea of the scent that lingered.

He looked at Alpha Gynus, sitting not far beside him, stuffing his cheeks like some insolent fool.

Alpha Black's face was torn with disgust. " I hope you like what you're eating. " Alpha Black's voice made the old man stop.

"...Alpha...?"

"It's amusing to watch you eat while your people starve." He growled. All of a sudden, Alpha Gynus started choking roughly. His fists banged on the table. "Oh my, OH MY!!" Madeline shouted in panic. Her attention dropped on the cold pitch of Water. With shaking hands and rapid eyes, she carelessly grabbed it and poured it on the cup beside Alpha Gynus.

Alpha Gynus downed the water so fast he almost spilled it. With a sign of despair and anxiety, a loud clank echoed around the hall as he roughly set the cup on the table.When he recovered, he looked at Alpha Black who was staring at him with a blank face."I'm sorry about that Alpha I-" Alpha Gynus could not finish his sentence when Alpha black grabbed the table knife and slammed it on the table. Permanently scarring it.

"Would you look at that." Alpha Black chuckled. Yet his laugh vibrated darkness and sarcasm.

"The treaty of Alliance between our pack and yours are ruined." He retorted.

"I mean, without it, I can no longer support your pack. A pity really. After all, your pack is short on food stock." Alpha Black taunted.Alpha Gynus went horrid. When the Pack crumbles down, all sixty eight would turn to rogues. Including children and elders.

"Please, Alpha, I-we'll do anything!"

Alpha Black raised an eyebrow. Anything? He thought it was absurd and utterly preposterous. The pack could barely eat anything in a day. What could this poor lad could possibly offer? He observed the broken Alpha beside him and other people who works there. Some were terrified. Some who were casually cleaning the windows stopped ehat they were doing. Horror attached on their face.

His eyes darted towards the woman standing in front on the doors of the kitchen. But what intrigued him the most was what lies inside it. The sweet memory of the lavander scent once again invaded his mind. His wolf started pacing again pushing him towards the door." I want to sewhoever lies inside that door." He spoke.

Alpha Gynus was confused but still nodded to Madeline nonetheless.

Ellia casually sat on the counter table, listening to the old music on her mp3. She found it one night on one of the trash bins while searching for any food, since her mother was out, sleeping with mated wolves.

The vague memory of that incident was still fresh on Ellia's mind.

" and though I see the danger

Still the flames grow higher.I know I must surrender toYour kiss of fire."

Ellia sang with along with the music. She could tell that it was an old song, but it was all she's got at the moment. Maybe one day when her mate rescue her, away from all this Chaos, she may have a chance to experience a whole new world.

She had a plan.her own plan. When the right time comes, she'll leave the pack. Start a new life and find her mate.

"ELLIA!"Her Mother's panicked voice startled Ellia. "Yes, miss?" She asked.

Madeline looked at ger first before taking a big gulp. "Alpha Black wants to see you.." her lips quivered in fear.

Madeline opened the door followed by Ellia. Her eyes darted towards the front where two alphas sat beside each other. One who was fiddling with himself anxiously. The other sitting proudly. His eyes set on her, piercing her skin with his gaze.

When she met the eyes of Alpha Black, something inside her stirs.

Her wolf started to become hyper, ears perked up as she howled happily.

'MATE!'

Ellia gasped, stopping at her tracks. Her eyes widen as her hands flew to cover her lips.

As Ellia stood there, still baffled, Alpha Black observed her.

His wolf was howling with joy screaming inside him,

'MATE! MATE!'

Bht he stayed calm. His wolf pushed him to make a move. But he stayed calm and collected. His eyes travelled to her complexion. She was beautiful. Her eyes, as deep as the cerulean sea yet her hair was an ebony black. Both contrasting each other but made a beautiful pair for her.

Her body was thin. Made him think he could carry her with the use of his pinky. She was a bit small and fragile looking. It did not take him long before a rain of disappointment washed him.

She did not fit to be a Luna.

She's pretty. But she did not carry the dominant trait a Luna of Storm pack should. By the looks of how she gets so intimidated, it would be easy to tell that even an omega could harm her easily.

He was immediately turned off. His wolf was still urging him, but he turned him down. He expected a strong, dominant and independent woman as a mate.

He did not wish to have someone as fragile as this. No. That would be a disgrace within the Pack. Heck, it would be a disgrace and a big disappointment to everyone.

"Alpha, this is..." Alpha Gynus spoke.

"Ellia Glorr, Alpha." Ellia finished his sentence, bowing her head with respect.

Alpha Black studied her once more.

"You want to keep your treaty?" Alpha Black questioned the other beside him.

Alpha Gynus nodded obediently.

"I want her." That was it.

Three words left his mouth that made every people inside the hall gasp. Excluding his guards who were as still as a stone.

Madeline and Alpha Gynus were both horrified and confused. "Why, Alpha?" "Don't ever question anything I do." Alpha Black retorted. Madeline thought for a second. A thought flashes to her mind. Maybe he only wanted her because he needed a slave. someone that can serve him. 

"Now, I know you won't agree-"  "Sold!" Madeline screamed gleefully. With Ellia gone, she can finally have freedom and be with her so-called-lover. "Miss, wha-"  "Oh don't be silly Ellia, life would be better of without you in my hair." her mother dismissed her, puffing a breath. Ellia could not believe what she was hearing. Her eyes were huge, staring at her mother in disbelief.

She understood that madeline didn't want to be called mother in anyway. But to sell her just like that was absurd. It was a long silence of heartbreak and disbelief. While she gawks at her mother with broken eyes, Alpha Black watched the scene with amusement. How she could sell someone just like that without even knowing what her use are.

Alpha Black wanted to leave her here at first. But the thought of other men would try and get to her angered his wolf. He did not wish to have someone like her as a Luna of a very powerful pack. But her also did not wish to abandon her here with the rest of unmated wolves.

He stood up from his table and made his way towards the fragile girl and whispered.

"Welcome to Storm Pack. Ellia."

Guards escorted Both Ellia and Alpha Black towards one of the cars. Alpha Black took long strides while Ellia walked hesitantly. It was all a shock for her. First she found her mate, second her mother sold her, now she's about to join the ruthless, cold Alpha to God knows where.

" I don't like waiting." said Alpha Black who was waiting inside the car. Ellia immediately went inside as the guard slammed the car door slowly. she watched carefully all the guards riding each car. The engine roared loudly until the sound of a roaring car started moving, leaving the small, grotesque pack behind.

"What's your full name, Ellia?" Asked Alpha Black who sat in front, observing her. "Ellia glorr, Alpha.." She muttered. "Hm." The Alpha Hummed. pleased with her obedience.
