JV woke alone. She was used to it, but now it was different. After waking in Steve"s arms for a while, she missed the warm comfort of him there beside her.
Sitting up, she stretched and looked at the clock. It was already after 8:00am. She hurried with her shower and dressed to go into town. She and Rebecca were going to get groceries today and possibly a few last minute gifts while they were out.
