There were more people around after dinner than for the actual meal. There was never a big crowd, rather there was a pretty steady flow in and out. JV, Kim and Tina insisted that Rebecca rest and spend time with her guests while they put the food away.
"Why don"t you go check on Rebecca, see if she needs anything?" Kim said once the food was put away.
"We can take care of the dishes," Tina put in, "Go, spend some time with your new clan."
"You sure?"
"Of course we are," Tina said, spinning JV toward the living room and giving her a light shove. "Now, go."
In the living room, JV looked around. She"d been busy and hadn"t paid attention to who was there. She found several faces she didn"t recognize and a couple she did.
