Chapter Seven

It had been a few hours since Sam had left, and Julian was still munching on her ice cream now in silence. The brunette had grown used to silence over the years, especially since her parents were never home, which allowed her to get away with so many things over the years, and it was how Jace was never caught for abusing her. The young vixen had finally decided to put the carton of ice cream down, only for her phone to startler her by ringing, and she dropped the carton of ice cream sending it crashing to her hardwood flooring. The pissed off girl brushed her hair back, only to answer her phone, and move to lean over the bed attempting to try to grab the spilt ice cream.
“Why, hello Jewels..”
As the husky voice entered her ears, the vixens body seemed to freeze in place, and her breathing hitched out of fear. A million questions flooded her mind, as the brute on the other end of the phone call chuckled dangerously, and continued on.
“I bet your sitting on your bed, frozen out of fear..bet you didn’t think I would be out of jail this soon, Darling.”
Jace's sinister words were soaked with a dangerous intention, as Julian left the spilt ice cream along, and remained stock still only gulping slightly out of fear. The malicious male chuckled deeply into the phone, then hung up leaving the vixen to let out a terrified sob. Julian knew at this point, no matter what she did her demon was catching up to her, and nothing could stop that devil from reaching her. The brunette vixen finally felt in control of her body once more, only to flop down on her bed, and curled up into a ball with the ice cream carton long forgotten.
“Jason is out of jail… he's out…”
The horrified young vixens body shook slightly, due to fear, and due to the fact that her body shook with silent sobs. Her shaky hand reached out, quickly typing the very same thing she had just spoke, and sent it to Sam.
