1. 26 Birthday

You know when you are half awake and half in sleep still. You can almost remember what you were dreaming about, the moment it all comes crashing at the sound of something very loud and very annoying comes barreling at you through your dreams. I wake up with a start, Jesus that was a freaking dream I think to myself, if only i could actually remember what the hell it was about..  I turn over on my side and look at my phone 6:35am. Why the hell am I awake at this early god damn hour. I am definitely going to ring those guys neck. I roll back over and close my eyes in hopes of finding that dream again, when a loud crash comes from outside the door. I jump out of bed scared half to death, and run to the door and open it. Not the smartest plan if it was in fact someone trying to kidnap or kill me, but im already opening the door. Outside my room in the hall is my four guys, standing there staring at the floor looking all but pissed at one another. "Soooo, good morning, what the hell was that noise and why do you look like your about to kill each other? Did Damien use all the hot water again?" I ask with a smirk. Damien, Dimitri, Jax, and Ryder all turn towards me and they look upset in a way that someone just kicked their puppy. " What.. What happened?" I ask in a panic it cant be good when all of them are here and looking like this. " We wanted to wish you a happy birthday, we made a cake and everything" says ryder. "Yeah we set your alarm so we wouldnt scare you awake" says damien "And we tried we really did try to make this a great day" says jax. Dimitri moves to the side so i can see the now smashed cake with blue and purple frosting on the floor. "We are really sorry sweetness" Dimitri says. I just stare at them dumbfounded, i completely forgot what day it was, or for that matter that it was my birthday. I feel emotion start to swell up inside my throat as I try to process what they did for me. "I have no words guys, I mean im not upset about the cake, but they fact that you actually remembered it was my birthday and that you tried to bake a cake" I say when i see their faces fall like im mad at them. " Hey" I say as i pull them to me in a ackward hug. they all tower over my short ass by at least a half a foot or more. "Thank you so much" I say as a few small tears slip through. I wouldnt be where I am without these guys. I cant thank them enough for everything we have gone through. At that thought, an alert goes off on the computer in the main room down the hall. We all freeze for a second and then I take off down the hall with them following close behind me. I reach the computer and set to work finding what it has found. "Well it looks like someone is looking into us again, My firewall has been deflecting attacks for at least a hour. Which means whoever is trying to find us has found a hacker and they arent that bad seeing as they got this far." I smirk. " This isnt a time for games Rose, we have to get on the move if they got this far that means they are close and I dont like the idea of someone being that close to you or me" says Ryder. I understand his concern, but I am fascinated watching the attempts on the firewall I have built around our entire network. Whoever this is isnt half bad. They arent half good either but still. "Rose" Damien says raising his voice.  I snap out of it and turn to them. "Your right im sorry. Get the bags ready i will wipe everything clean and misdirect the data and locations again." They all look at me and nod and head off to get the escape route ready. WE have these plans in place because of this exactly. I start to do a wipe and realize this is the longest we have stayed in place in a while. 2 weeks, Im kinda going to miss Victoria B.C, but we have to leave. After I have finished I do what I hate the most and set the computer up to corrupt itself and in less that 10 mins the entire device will over heat and corrupt all data and files, making it completely useless to anyone who actually does track us this far. I head off to my room to change, I have on my blue PJ shorts and a tank top. When i get to the bed I see one of the guys has pulled out an outfit for me and packed up my things for me. They really are something else. I grab the gray bra and panties and the dark gray sweatshirt and my high rise jeans and converse and head to the bathroom to change and get ready. By the time im done changing and brushing through my hair, dimitri is in the doorway spraying down the vinegar bleach mixture we use to eliminate most evidence. I pull my hair up into a messy bun and look at myself in the mirror. I wouldnt say im not pleased by my appearance but i do lack that certain self confidence that i feel i should have. I have auburn hair but you would think its just dark brown until I actually get in the sun, my blue eyes stare back at me with my little "cindy lou who" nose that damien likes to tease me about, i have pouty lips but not big just sort of there and set. Im about 5'4 and i feel unfairly given a b cup and an ass that barley can fit in jeans that actually fit my smaller waist. Dimitri pulls me to him, for a hug and whispers in my ear "Hey its ok, we got you okay, happy birthday sweetness." He kisses my temple and I just slightly hug him back. "WE HAVE TO MOVE NOW" I hear ryder shout from the main room. I run over to my room grab my duffle and shove my PJs in them. I take off towards the main room where the guys are all standing whispering and they stop and look at me. They are all dressed similarly to me. Easier to blend in they say with blacks whites and grays. "What....What is happening?" I ask them, when i see their faces are very much pulled tight and stressed.  "When is the wipe done?" Jax asks me. " It has 2 more minutes, why?" I ask. I have a feeling that this isnt going to be good.  "Whoever it is that has found us whether it be the same or someone else they are close, someone is asking about RAVEN in town." Jax says looking very much like hes about to take out the entire house. "Wait what?" I ask. I pull my laptop out and start to redirect the information, looking for clues as to who we are being hunted by. "We dont have time for this Rose, we have to move now, and we have to seperate" Ryder says. I snap my head up "What the hell did you say. we are doing no such thing." I shout at him. "Listen Dimitri and Damien will meet up with us later, ryder will stay here to make sure the wipe in complete and then find us later too, we have to go rose please" jax says to me. AHHA there it is, I zero in on the encrypted file. US GOVERNEMNT. The fuck.. "they sent a seal team after us" I say stunned. "US, team of 7 it looks like. we have to move now. " I close the computer down . I run over the the main computer and check the time 1 Min. it will be okay. I turn to my guys, they are strategizing escape plans and lord help me I am beyond grateful that all of them are ex military. WE have about 5 mins before this team is within distance of us, and 10 before they are at the house. "Ok listen to me carefully." I look at the guys "I know what you want, I cant do this to you now, ok. We have the underground hatch and we need to use it now. Once we are through the grate at the end I will locate us something that will get us the hell away from here but i also have something I have been keeping from you. I have been setting up a home base for us. i know i know before you start but I ghosted the entire island and used only my contacts to require items needed. we have to go now okay we can talk when we get away from here but we have to go" I say to them as i start to the back of the house. They all stare at me and begin to talk all at once "how in the hell.." "what are you talkin..." "I swear im going to kill.."  "Lets go" I shout at them.  they pick up the bags just as i hear the computer pop and sizzle from over heating.  we reach the back of the house. WE chose this house because of this specific fun not so little known fact. The house is built into the forest in a way that is private yet very much luxury. at the back of the house , is a well room, and under the well pipes is a hidden escape hatch that leads to the coast about 3 miles out. damien grabs the false door and lifts it up and we start to slide through, first ryder the jax, dimitri takes my bag and lowers me into the hole where jax catchs me and ryder grabs the bags that are coming down. next come dimitri and him and ryder support damien as he places the false bottom back in place and  the best part it locks down.  Once they are secure they stare at me, I can see they are all still pissed that threw this whole thing on them but I would do anything to keep them safe. We start to move through the tunnel in a fairly quick pace. 3 miles doesnt sound that bad in theory but with duffles and me being the not so athletic person its a bit much for me. I start to fall back more having a hard time with the underground its dark aspect of this, my breathing becomes shallow and I feel like im heating up at an alarming rate. "Wait" I say which sounds far away . "My vision is a bit blurry and I see jax come stand in front of me. "Rose.. hey.. Rose" he says waving his hands in my face. "I... feel... I " I am struggling to get this through. "Grab her" I hear and I cant even tell who said it "s**t" I hear jax says as i start to slump/ " I need a break" I say forcefully trying to fight through this.  "I know sweetness but we cant, okay... Grab her bag,.. no just grab it.. seriously.. fine." I hear as I am pushed into jax arms. He cradles me and we start to move again. He starts to hum slightly and it makes me snuggle in closer to him. my head is on his shoulder and my arms wrapped around his neck when i start to see a brightness from under my eye lids. I open my eyes and we are at the grate. I look up at jax and he has the most concerned face i have seen in a while. The guys move the grate to the side and then we walk through onto the sandy beach. I hear some zippers and the grate moving back into place and then I hear the drills. They are securing the grate so it wont be accesesed by anyone. "Set me down" I say in  small voice, embarrassment and bile mix come together. I feel weak but im okay now I hate being weak. Jax sets me down slowly and makes sure im okay before he lets me stand on my own, it just further shows weakness. "hey" jax says as he lifts my chin to meet his eyes, "its okay, we knew that it would be hard for you, but you did great and we are always here for you. Dont worry okay.. Im serious dont worry about that, butttt lets worry about getting away before something worse comes along then the darkness and underground." he says watching my emotions play out on my face. he is right. I give him a kiss on the cheek and run over and grab my bag, i pull out the cell i have and start to search for the boat i have "procured" for us to use. more or less we are about to steal someones boat who honestly sort of deserves it. I send off the pre recorded RAVEN message to the Prime Minister, within it saying that he will be exposed for his crimes and disloyalty to Canada and the Queen shall he return the money from the reserve he has taken to buy this baot we are about to steal, and he must come clean to his wife. She hired us to find out his discreations and did we ever. I send her the email encrypted of course and we wait. "Okay, we are just waiting for the reply and then we are set. We should be okay to stay here for a few hours not that i think it will take that long, but the team is at the house." I say looking at the guys. "well i guess we should get to work huh, can you insert us into their comms, lets learn about why US is trying to find us" says Dimitri. I laugh "Well i think we know why they are trying to find us, we have done some pretty illegal things and exposed some truths that they arent to pleased about." They all shake their heads agreeing me with. I start to decrypt the comms connection from my phone. Usually this would take a while but honestly with the close proxity it isnt the bad. Once I am in , I look at the clock its been 15 Minutes and no word yet from the Prime Miniters wife. I start to worry. I made my own deal with her, without the guys knowing. I will give her 5 more minutes and if she hasnt responded I have my own dirt on her and I dont want to be dirty like that but we have to protect our asses. As that thought passes, i look over at the guys, and wonder if they will be mad at me for what i have been doing behind their backs. I am trying to have been to tell them for a couple of months now but if they decide they dont want to be in this with me anymore, i will let them go even if it breaks my heart. I hear a ding and look down to see that she mas emailed me back with an overly thankful email, she informs me that she is setting up the press conference and will be publicly be separating from him in about 20 minutes before he gets his message from RAVEN. She also sends the title and all paperwork to the yacht to me stating she claimed it was stolen and has received the funds back for and will be replacing money. She had it stored in a dock about 30 minutes away from where we are and that WE would know what to do. Yes in fact I do know what I plan to do. "okay we are done here" I say to them as i grab my bag, we have some transportation set up and we need to haul ass to the dock about 30 minutes away from us beach side. Lets wrap this what. What have you guys heard" I tell them. Damien looks at me and frowns "they have reason to believe that a female is RAVEN, and they are closing in on you. They dont know that you are working with anyone else. they are pissed that they cant lift a single fingerprint or find any DNA evidence to support this mision. The CO in charge is pretty pissed that he has been outsmarted by a woman, this is the 3rd time hes tried to track us and first time trying and failing to come to us. they will be heading back to Washington to a base not far from here, on whidbey island. " Wow that is alot in 5 minutes they must be very pissed. "well okay then.. why are you frowning at me" i ask curious. I start to head down the beach side which is rocky not sandy thank goodness. they start to follow and soon catch up "sweetness, what the hell is going on?" Damien asks "Why are you keeping things from us?" dimitri is second to ask "what arent you telling us?" jax chimes in as well. I look at Jax waiting for his question as well. he just looks at me and i see a small shift of emotion in his eyes sadness then its steel blue. locking away all emotion. i sigh, i think that hurts the most. "I will explain all of this when we get to the boat okay." i say. realizing that i hadnt told them it was a boat before "...and yes i know its a boat. calm down i have this under control. I promise please have faith in me." i plead to them. We all walk in silence then. Once we make it to the small abandoned docking yard I see it, The 335 ft yacht that is now technically a ghost, well will be when we get onboard. 

"What the in..." they all whisper and then turn to look at me. "Have faith" i say as I walk on to the floating dock and board the massive yacht. "Boat.. f*****g seriously.. this is a god damn mansion on on fins" i hear one of them say. I just smile. We board through the second level which houses two small rooms with beds and small bathrooms, a small living area and looks like a wet bar, and at the far end the master room. I start to head to the bottom level which houses the electrical and mechanical room. This is where i need to set up first. I pull out my computer and begin plug it in to the main frame system. I erase all information regarding VIN and any information tying this to us or anyone else for that matter. I then change the GPS system to a program i Use with a personal satellite that cannot be tracked, I the remove all tracking information and "Ghost" the ship itself. This will allow me access to still search the wed but do so without be tracked. Thanks to that satellite we have.  I make my way up to the first level of the deck and see the captains room, I then plug in my computer and enter the coordinates for the island. "SO, when where you wanting to talk?" I jump at the sound of Jax voice behind me. "You scared me" I say breathing heavily. He just eyes me and points for us to go down to the second level. I hang my head and do so. 

When we get done and ive explained how I was able to ghost an entire island from all GPS and satellite imaging, as well as the 5 bedroom 5 bath house that is on the island as well as the training center and top line security systems in place, they seem a bit less mad and more impressed than anything.  I would never let anyone hurt you guys . I make my way back up to the docking station and start the engines. Dimirti comes up then and just smiles at me "What in the world do you think you are doing?" he asks. "Im going to pull us out and get to the island" I say as i look over the massive amounts of buttons and levers. "Go lay down and make sure we arent being followed my little rebel. Before you crash this amazing "boat" you have procured for us" he says using air quotes. I smile. He can drive, fly, and navigate anything. I give him a quick kiss on the cheek and he grabs my waist and pulls me into a hug. "Dont ever scare me that way again, I cant have you hiding from us okay?" he says into my hair. I look into his green eyes and smile.  I make my way down to the master suite and lay down on the bed. Today is my 26 birthday. its also the third year anniversary of all us being together. Some longer than others but within a year i acquired 4 men who gave me their loyalty. I smile falling asleep thinking about that crazy year.
