The banana bread tasted like heaven.
Warm, sweet, rich—chocolate chips melting on my tongue. I had to close my eyes to keep from making a sound that would've been entirely inappropriate for breakfast.
"Oh my god," I mumbled. "This is..."
"The best thing you've ever put in your mouth?" Chloe finished, grinning. "I told you. The man's a wizard. It's annoying, really. How can someone be good at corporate takeovers and baking?"
