***Lisa's POV***
I hurried to the clinic where Nicolette had spent the night. She was in bad shape and needed medical attention. As I entered, Kyleen and Cody greeted me. Anderson sat by the window, watching a sleeping Nicolette in her bed.
"Good morning! Did he spend the whole night here?" I asked Kyleen and Cody.
"Yes, he hasn't slept at all. He hasn't left her side," Cody said with concern.
"After last night's events, he should be resting. But I guess when you meet your mate, nothing else matters," Kyleen added, sipping her coffee.
I watched Nicolette sleep peacefully.
"It's funny how things turn out, isn't it?" I said, placing my hand on his shoulder.
Nicolette had been cleaned up and her injuries were taken care of; she looked much better now.
