I woke up in my dim bedroom, facing the open door to the balcony. The moon hung high in the sky, surrounded by an array of twinkling stars. A warm breeze blew in through the doors, causing the curtains to dance gracefully. Confused, I sat up and looked at the door. I could have sworn I closed it before going to bed.
Curiosity overtook me and I got out of bed, making my way towards the balcony to take in the view of the moon and stars. The warm wind enveloped me, welcoming me outside onto the balcony. As I closed my eyes and let the moonlight caress my face, I heard a familiar voice speak up behind me.
"Hey…"
My body froze and chills ran down my spine at the sound of his voice - a voice I loved dearly.
